I don't think any reviewer can do this
This car is cool and all, but I think its cost is still pretty high. Compare it with a ~30 lakh luxury petrol/diesel SUV and you would still be saving a lot more money over the years than this EV.
I first saw it while I was stuck in very long traffic (10 km). I thought it would be around 20 to 25 L max. But I was shocked to know it's price. Very costly. Not worth it because electric cars have almost 0 resale value.
it's not practical to be a mass market car in Indian road because of its position in the higher price tag and I think Hyundai too knows it well that's why it's importing here and attracting a lot of tax
Problem with EVs, is their resale value. An average chacha from a village knows batteries degrade overtime. 45 lakh you invest, after 2 years of regular use, battery might come down below 80 percent health. Goodluck finding a buyer. And if you keep for 5+ years, boom, that car turns into a tin can, no use for you, no use for anyone else. 45 lakh, gone. No resale. Yes, there is battery warranty, replacement schemes from certain companies, but that will change when EV becomes mainstream. This is such a detrimental direction for the automobile industry. And dont even start about the mining of battery resources. There isn't enough nickel and cobalt and lithium in the planet for a road full of EV.
Lol. You have no idea buddy. Why would any manufacturer give 8 or 10 year battery warranty if the battery is gone in 5 years? These batteries will last longer than the life of the car itself. Tesla's have higher resale value than ICE vehicles and as ICE vehicles get banned in the future, expect to see Delhi diesel situation play out everywhere and sell ICE vehicles for scrap.

Lol cant believe you are comparing this with a nexon.
Dude comparing with Nexon😂😂😂 and range complaints are from users itself go and read forums team bhp threads on nexon ev range…. IONIQ 5 is the world car of the year 2022 .. Show some respect .. No one comes close in the segment
@@NikhilOnCarsI Didn't generalise everyone. That's why * 'some' *. Hope you understand what I was about to say 🙄 and won't be 😠furious.
Would take a BYD Atto over this.
We need to see a road trip in this like the porsche taycan.
Guys when will you start a real time review we Indians travels in packs like 5 people in a car and huge luggage why don't you do that a real one with 5 people and language and in the city at peak hours in summer then we will know the range the ground clearance, what if tyre got punctured how to get it repaired by ourselves and how easy it is? I don't think any reviewer can do this
True , very few talk about the headlights as well, presence of UV cut glasses etc.
Please do videos in 4K & improve the video quality! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This car is cool and all, but I think its cost is still pretty high. Compare it with a ~30 lakh luxury petrol/diesel SUV and you would still be saving a lot more money over the years than this EV.
Lancia delta integrale HF vibes
Nice!
Compare it with Kia ev 6
Make in India please!
Already made in India. It's CKD and hence the competitive pricing.
Nice
The interior gives me Omni vibes
70k at the stealerships with inferior specs in every way compare to the model Y selling for about 47K after EV cr
भगवान जल्दी से बिक्री बढ़े, हुंडई की
👌 but 30--35lakh is okay
Competing against that Kia ev.
I first saw it while I was stuck in very long traffic (10 km). I thought it would be around 20 to 25 L max. But I was shocked to know it's price. Very costly. Not worth it because electric cars have almost 0 resale value.
For 45L? No way dude. Electrics are still too expensive in India imo.
it's not practical to be a mass market car in Indian road because of its position in the higher price tag and I think Hyundai too knows it well that's why it's importing here and attracting a lot of tax
Its not hyun-dai.. its hun-day..
One would have spent that amount If the car was from VW but a 45 Lakh Hyundai is a big NO.
Nik Sir Is Bac With a Car Wich is Arguably Just Straight out from a Sci-Fi Mvie .. Its Pixel Lights Remind me of the "The Cars Movie" .. 🫶
Hey Autocar India ! When is the new BMW X1 series review? Curious to kno your review after the initial launch impressions going down hill
We're just as curious to see how those figures translate on to the road. Drives will start soon!
@@NikhilOnCars oh yeah mate. 136ps and 150ps diesel ain't as expected when other countries are getting better engines. Can't wait for your review ❤️ excited 😆 cheers

Not sure what is the target audience of this channel in India. This car is affordable for your subscribers, really.
