Pretty much mained him since the AP days. Btw you can do more than auto-reset with W for increasing early game clear speed. You can time your double strike passive and Q to get the maximum value out of E and maximum cdr on Q: E -> Q -> double strike -> 2x auto -> double strike. This gives you 6 hits of E from autos instead of 4.
Ppl don't know how yi powerspikes work. Your earlygame is acually really good with lethal tempo and ur e your stronger than 90% of other junglers even with no items and with 1 item that is one of your best powerspikes. People just have no idea how to acually play Master yi which is funny cause everyone always says hes so easy to play.. clearly not xd the champ needs you to know matchups, powerspikes and u need very good timing.. playing yi on a high lvl is very hard

Your goal with Master yi q in the best case is to dodge cc and kill someone so quickly that they can't even react which you do with w aa reseting in the right time which 99% of casual yi players don't even do right.. activating your e in the right moment is also more complicated than a lot of people seem to think. Theres so much more to the champion again when played on a high lvl. Thats why you see broxah beeing completly useless here in the Video. He doesn't understand yi mechanics at all nor does he know his powespikes or damage at all (which is fine btw no hate to the guy i love him just saying he can't play yi.) If you don't believe it watch sinerias play yi in challenger hes insane.
@@thanatossterbling6471 my guy, he has some timing nuance but compared to any other champion in the game, his abilities are incredibly simple and easy to use. Hard to master? Sure, but not hard to use at all. That's why everyone says you smash your head against the keys for yi.
@@Marlesden well if thats your opinion.. i onetrick azir and find that yi can be very mechanically demanding sometimes depending on who you play agains because if you get hit by one cc spell your dead and there are 5 people that may or may not have cc that will fuck you over if u don't time your engages and q's perfectly thats not easy at all in my opinion. On paper its just pressing q but if it where that easy you'd see a lot more people play this champ better. The positioning with yi is very unique as well because as you saw in the vid broxah got caught so easily which wont happen as often if you know where to stand and how to move. Also him thinking that yi is weak early and strong late is terrible game knowledge which impaced his positioning terribly. SO ACCUALLY 🤓👆 i dont think hes that easy
Would you consider getting a session with Cowsep or another main who plays Yi into everything to look over some of these games? I'd be really curious to see how they would've approached a gamestate like the first game especially. 🤔
Broxah, I love you, but whoever is editing for you needs to add some transition effects when you jump ahead in the vod. Nothing major, nothing fancy. It's confusing to just have a hard cut to a different scene.
I think that first game offers a solid lesson in identifying win cons and building towards your team and opponents circumstances; a lot of the suffering I saw here had more to do with the fact that Broxxah had trouble accepting that he was not the carry or planning towards the notion that the Kassadin will get big and carry him. BotRK against this comp full of squishies (Ezreal, Ahri, Taliyah, Pyke, Vayne) isn't really a good item when there's no tank, let alone no bruiser amongst the enemy comp (it still performs very well end game though). If Broxxah had settled into Merc treads, Stride Breaker, Death's Dance, Thornmail then he still presents as a threat that needs to be focused (because Yi) but has a lot delaying his death from being focused which affords the Kassadin time to apply immense burst and pressure. Would he have still died a lot? Definitely. But he'd at least feel like he doesn't get blown up in 4 abilites from the enemy team.
First game bruiser yi actually would have been better. SEcond game.. any champion but fucking yi would have been acceptable, that game was lost from the start rofl.
I wonder how videos would feel like if instead of cuts you would just speed it up to the next point. I feel like sometimes cuts in your videos are a bit unexpected. I wouldn't even mind full games though.
@@SleepyFen ?? Fizz has a skillshot and tons of outplay potential in his kit. The most basic ADC has to have good kiting mechanics, and there are challenging ones like Kalista and Draven. Keep giving your bronze takes though buddy 😁
@@acedia_14 Fizz has a skillshot and his E, but Fizz's skillshot has a generous area of effect and still works even if you miss it. Yi has his Q, which is about equivalent to Fizz's E, but he also has his W to block damage and reset his attack timer. Timing the damage block can mean the difference between winning a 1v2 and losing it, and I'd argue having the game knowledge and foresight to use it properly is more difficult than landing one of the easiest skillshots in the game. As for ADC, yeah, Yi needs to orb-walk between his autos as well because otherwise you're wasting a ton of damage canceling your own autos every time the enemy walks away. Walking between autos is something Yi needs to do just as much as Jinx. The fact that you don't know this just tells me you're ass at Yi. But hey, keep giving your opinions on shit you know nothing about. Judging by your arrogant writing, I have probably played LoL for longer than you've been alive.

Meanwhile Blitzcrank and Pyke can sit at 45 % win rate and people still ban them more than Rakan because they're frustrating to play against. I think that's very telling.
Umm...i don't know. You had early advantage in jungle farm,had more xp from beginning,but kinda you fell out. Agreed Illao was bad with his outta world statements "i was on youtube",but still you should dominate from early on. Just my point of view. Nothing against you or whatsoever. But it was bad synergy,that was obvious. Janna and Jinx couldn't connect at all. As rest of the team with each other. 🤷

1) Pray for fed Kassadin and Jinx, cause you will be useless early, mid and late game

It's cuz yi q removed his aggro so the raptors aggro'd onto the ahri lol. I think it's still a bug but not it also kinda makes sense i suppose
