Does Galen still use ATI or hold you back if you fail the ATI? They sent this email out to students Dear Student, As a result of a law passed in Texas, there will be adjustments to your course syllabi for 2023 Fall Quarter for courses that utilize ATI and Pass Point, effective September 1, 2023. The changes will impact the use of ATI and Pass Point. These tools are valuable to help prepare for NCLEX and will be beneficial for licensure preparation. We would like to encourage you to continue to use the products.
@@Rocky-co3fv Heyyyy! Thank you for your support 💗! Unfortunately, yes! We here in FL we’ve been doing the ATI as a pass or fail requirement. When you get to med surg wyou will have to take the ATI for funds. Then, in mom n baby you take the ATI for Med surg. Every time you move to a different class you take the ATI. For the funds ATI you need a 64% (level 2) but then after, it goes higher. I believe 70%, then 74%, then 80%. That’s when you’re ready to sit for the NCLEX. I like it but hate it because it helps you see if you will pass the NCLEX. Which I’ve “HEARD” the ATI is HARD and NCLEX is a breeze for Galen students.

Thank you for your support!!! Honestly, Galen doesn’t tell you what you need to get in. You just take the test and it’s lock when you’re done, the score goes directly over and they email you like a week later to let you know if you’re accepted or not.
I’m interested in applying . I have a bachelor’s degree already. But I wanted to know an estimate of how much your tuition would be if pre-requisites are already completed ?
@@tyreunaluther98 thank you for your support, the tuition is still expensive WITH the prerequisite being complete. Galen became very expensive in the recent years, but it’s a great school.
Thank you for your support, unfortunately I didn’t do my prerequisites here just because it was too expensive. I went to a community college and then transferred my credits over.
Hi. Please I applied for 2024 summer quarter,I already sent my transcript,I applied online. When do I take my TEAS exam? Would I get an email concerning the start of the teas exam??

Hey, love you would definitely have to call over to them and schedule a meeting to see what credits they will accept. I know after 5 years they don’t take credits. But if you have a degree you don’t take the entry test.
@@justinokpalaobi6350 yes because that’s stated on the website that if you have a degree, the entrance tested is waved. Read the stipulations with that, see if it’s a timeframe on how old the degree is. But I know that’s a rule that have

They are just forcing me to take TEAS exam, despite the fact I already have 2 different bachelor degrees

They told me that I would only write science TEASE if I chose to transfer science courses like AP 1 & 2

Sorry, that’s a question I don’t know. I know the ATI is 64% med surg and it increases from there on by 5-7% for future test.
