But you're missing the point, it's not about the finishes, it's about the pins

@@yazanalhelou not missing the point. I know it’s about the pins. I highlighted these moments by request for a few specific things I’ve been asked to note in Craig’s game unrelated to the rides, turks, cradles, pins, etc. The comment isn’t for anyone else but it’s public if anyone wants to use it

  • @DrewDarce

the feet placement at 3:55 is a super intelligent play. Right leg has their right leg elevated, and the sole of the left foot 'palming' their right leg shuts down their ability to rotate. Most people would just go a conventional belly down mount or take the back, but this alternative foot position really forces the guy on bottom to stay stuck face down.

having bought craigs power pins instructional, its great an useful to see him use those techniques here in live rolling. recognising the turk, claw , shelving the legs an other concepts proper help for me to learn them i think. great video, even better when i can recognise the stuff iv seen rather than just guessing. great stuff

Gonna watch it again an take notes.iv got loads of bjj fanatics instructions but I think the ones that explain an demonstrate the best are craig and neil melanson, I feel I remember alot of their stuff compared to others.
