Just when I thought Chevy had cornered this segment with the trax Nissan came out swinging. Will be interesting to see if Chevy responds by making awd available.
I'm quite impressed with this new SUPERB upgrade of the Nissan Kicks! I think that am in need of an upgrade from my own 2022 Nissan Kicks! Love the sneaker theme to the KICKS ... 🚗💨🥰

What's interesting: the increase in size of the new Kicks. That tells me the Kicks is 1) going to get the e-Power hybrid drivetrain and 2) it may replace the Qashqai (Rogue Sport) model sold in other parts of the world, and the smaller Juke will replace the Kicks in European and Asian markets.

Great video Eddie!! Looks great but I have 2 concerns with the 2025 Kicks. Price and acceleration.
I’m quite sure Nissan will use this opportunity to hike up the MSRP by at least $3000. This means that a 2025 Kicks SR AWD could be close to 30k and if so, I would rather buy a base CX-5 or even Rogue.
Acceleration is another problem. According to Alex on Autos, this new Kicks will likely be slower than the old Kicks due to an extra 500 pounds in weight from the increased size and AWD. Keep in mind this new Kicks is almost the size of a RAV4 but has a lot less power. Zero to 60 in 12 seconds is likely
didn't bother adding the E-power system to make it hybrid. That would have been awesome!

Nice to see a real gearshift instead of a bunch of buttons or a knob. Also kudos for very little piano black trim… not so sure on the haptic buttons however and the lack of vents for the back seat. As for the CVT…. 👎

Wow, no one is really doing video coverage of the Kicks like you are. People are too willing to be living above their means and paying 50k+ for a new car. I’ve seen too many shiny trucks on the road and not being used for work and wonder how can they afford the gas and insurance. No wonder why people are broke.
