Komorebi is an open source tiling window manager for Windows: github.com/LGU...
Coming from Linux, having to work in Windows for work, I cannot thank you and the work you do enough. Like you said in the video, I hate not having a tilling window manager and Komorebi is a great solution!
Thanks for your support 🙏 Tiling window managers are just one of those things that you can never go back from I guess 😅
This is awesome!!!
One question though which I can't find in the documentation.
Can you also manually tile, like in i3?
Thanks for your comment, and sorry to disappoint but komorebi is focused exclusively on automatic tiling via layout algorithms for now
If you're interested in manual tiling workflows you can also check out GlazeWM by my friend Lars!
Excellent work
Thank you! I appreciate the support 🙏
Oh my god, YES! YES to the taskbar visibility toggle! Please!
... I mean, if you feel so inclined. Don't want to be entitled.
Nice release, btw %)
I can highly recommend butterytaskbar2 if you need something to hide the taskbar right now; it's very stable and it's what I use when I'm recording these videos to keep it out of view!
@@LGUG2Z thanks. Will definitely take a look at it. I now use ahk to blocks 3 bottom pixels of my screen from being accessible by the pointer in combination with native hide feature... Not ideal to say the least. Mostly because it keeps popping up when notifications come in :(
Ps: wow! It's written in jai, so it must be good 😊
Fantastic! Thx for your great work! Which IDE do u use for programming RUST? Greetings from germany!
Thank you for your support! I use LunarVim and Rust Analyzer if I'm making small edits, but for longer sessions I initially used IntelliJ but now I'm trying out the new Rust Rover IDE 🦀
Fan of Komorebi here, thanks Jeezy
Thank you for your support! Happy to be of service to people who willingly or unwillingly find themselves using Windows 🫡
