I like the seven chakras call back
My favorite ces cru song. It's gotten me through so many hard times that I just wanted to give up or explode. Their music was so powerful

Man the lighting immediately made me think of Seven Chakras
im sure that was the point, and the lights turning off and getting out of that world and showing the reality, its more than metaphorical
I think the callbacks are:
Seven Chakras lighting and everything at the start
Spitting to the mirror like in the Pharmacy video
Thing on the TV superimposed like in Letterman
Spitting while walking around a house like in Letterman
Maybe the other ones are resemblances more than intentional callbacks cause their videos are often filmed similarly
I can see how this video is reminiscent of seven chakras at the beginning and it really hits home for someone who’s been listening for years since highschool
Dude always had mad vocabulary and flows for days so I'm excited for this new project.

Love how you transition from a "set" like a music video. Then to just go into your house. Showing how this whole situation isn't just a rap/ career thing. But it's a personal experience you had to go though. It "hit home" Powerful
You were part of the reason I made it through my middle/high school years. CES constantly exceeding standards n Strange music really gave me the strength to be myself and be okay not fitting in. And it continued to help me on into early adulthood, But then I grew up fast when covid hit, and looked at the business structure, I see the smoke/mirrors + half hearted nonsense from leadership. All that aside the bars were fire and thats what kept me hooked. Unfortunately TOG knew this and instead of using that as passion to further innovate and dominate the industry like was said - instead started to take it for granted, treating the fanbase like they were less than even though they helped build up the best brand. Tech earned his gold flake steaks in the city he reps, all love and respect to the G who did the work - my issue is with Travis and how Strange has been mismanaged. Ubi with how strong you've stood by the label you 110% deserved fk that EARNED a spot on Face Off. But idk why they didn't see that and pushed Joey Cool instead.
The music helped me grow, I will always remember those foundational moments, growing up summer 2013 in a small oregon town - smoking some bammer weed and scraping pipes for resin to split amongst the homies lol. Now im all grown up 25 with a career in sales, I don't listen to music as much as I used to but i still make time to spin a few tracks and UBI your solo album is always in rotation 🔥 if anybody actually read this long comment here's a cookie, I love life and wish you well n positive vibes from Oregon 🍪

Oh shit. I mean the track itself was not only necessary, but so well executed man. The fact that we're getting a video for it to actually see your face as you say the shit is.. yeah. As a veteran ces fan this is such a bittersweet song. It sucks to hear songs like this, Stepping Stone about D12 is the most recent track that's given me this feeling. Like I appreciate you going out of your way to tell us your side, and in such a dope way, but the situation as a whole sucks.

Wow I somehow magically caught the premiere for this video and PHEWWW, the Seven Chakras ode in the beginning of the video was beautiful. I opened for you guys in 2015 when Dion brought you guys to casselmans before they closed and again in 2017 when we sold out the roxy. I know they only held 500 cap at the time but i sold 135 tickets as local support and was turning people down left and right that ended up not being able to get in at the door either because it was sold the fuck out.. that was one of the funnest nights i had during a run under a moniker that i laid to rest myself; with people ill never do business or perform with again. so i know what it feels like to let go of things and people you really cared about surrendering to the unkowns of life reflecting back on what the fuck actually just happened...it's a trip. I came to a meet and greet in Fresno years ago as a member of the street team for SM. Of all the names on the ticket, I was most exited to meet you guys. When I got up to you, you were super respectful, shook my hand, thanked me for the street team work. You were a pleasure to meet. Godi however, was sitting cross legged on the floor half asleep or something. I always told myself he was probably feeling sick or not feeling well mentally, but hearing this puts that experience in perspective. I hope he gets the help he needs, and I hope you can flourish now that you are free from that situation.
