feeling a bit grounded today and then I watched this video...time to "kick the tires and light the fires". you guys are the best thing that has happened to aviation in 4 decades...should we think of a Mount Rushmore for the Flying Cowboys???? believe it or not we already have one...it is sculpted in the sky...every time I hear a plane I look up to see if it is a Flying Cowboy...not just Trent, but all of you keep up the great work.

My day starts at 3 am and I'm on my feet working 2 jobs until 6:30pm. 3 flight lessons when I was younger was plenty enough for me to know I really *really* love aviation. I've been working hard and living cheap for months trying to feed the savings account enough for lessons and eventually for a kitfox down payment. A lot of days I wonder if the hard work will go anywhere, and some days it really feels like it's not. Lately been really feeling like its just not meant to work out. Sunday marked 4 years in remission for me. The anniversary is always a day for me to really appreciate the things I love about life, and is a day for some really critical thinking. Always a humbling day for me. Celebrating 4 years and I see a new Trent Palmer video on my feed and the High Sierra fly-in (and the aviation community as a whole) has never looked so amazing from the outside looking in. I think I'm gonna keep working my ass off. I dont think I'll be able to make it out to the next one for 5 years in remission, but hopefully I can make it out 2021. 5 years in remission is generally considered to be 'cured' so if I make it out the year after next that'd be 1 year 'cured' and I think that'd be the best way to be thankful for those little pleasures in life. And living in Arizona it'd only be a hop, skip, and a jump away from me.
