I've tried three of the builds, they're both versatile and useful. Even in case I lose I still enjoy because I find them really easy to use and well made. I've tried other builds and I did not have the same luck xD. Thanks for your efforts!
I recently started getting into GW2 PvP and been looking for some explanation and basics for classes and what to look out for in matches. I was more used to 10v10 and 15v15 games of WoW battlegrounds so it was a bit difficult to understand all the new stuff in GW2. But your videos helped a lot, they are great, thanks! (although, the current 3v3 mini-season feels like a clusterfuck without pre-made team)
@3:12 "you still need to have any piece of gear in that slot.... if you aren't wearing armor you still lose base stats". Is this patched now? I don't notice the stats changing like you showed when I tried to check. I also never knew about this, makes me wonder how often I tried making a new level 1/2 character, taking them into sPvP, and got wrecked by being understated with empty armor slots... definitely happened in the past, oof

This video was so good, before this I was so confused and then I did some of these builds and now I’m getting top damage sometimes and I even got top kills in a game we won, just started playing this game this week, what expansion would you recommend buying first to have some more fun in pvp
no addons, just a good balance of settings without making it look too flashy. Shaders on medium and postprocessing on low can give you a decent amount of light which shows textures more clearly
I would use all of these for WvW Roaming except the warrior, thief, and engineer build. Those three builds were designed a little bit too much around conquest and standing on nodes. For those three classes I would check out my WvW builds playlist instead
Hi great video would love a video with your thoughts about what PvP needs in the next expansion or following expansions, new maps or new PvP modes as seen in other games, whatever is in your head for PvP in GW2.
I like your optimism to think there will be any PvP related content in the next expansion. PoF didn't have anything, the PoF trailer didn't even mention that gw2 has competitive gamemodes. Most likely all we get are some PvE driven elites.
Mirage cloak has a visible animation and you can even hear it. It is just different from a normal dodge role and less obvious than the normal role animation.
@@beneteus3833 Being instant and having an animation are 2 different things. I only wanted to point out, that you can see and hear the mirage is dodging without checking the buffbar for the mirage cloak icon. Lot of ppl seem to miss that.
@@kevurcio360 Did you even read the previous comments? Can help to avoid saying the same things someone else mentioned already and can avoid to ask the same things over and over. Animation is about how visible something is, that has nothing to do with casttimes. And i mentioned that for the reasons that a lot of ppl complain, that they can't see if a mirage is dodging or not without looking at the mirage cloak buff, what means that they fail to see existing informations on their screen. That the dodge is instant (no casttime, no animation cast lock of the dodgeskill) and can be used together with other castskills is a different topic.
Yooo idk abt necromancer tho. Core power with signets=less stunbreaks, no mobility just by its nature which makes it very punishing when out of position. Idk if i would suggest that to new players to get best results.
plague signet is a stun break and it goes super low cooldown because of the signet trait, its more stun breaks than other builds and less difficult to remember where your wurm is. As far as being punished, core necro shroud is very forgiving either way. Out of all the builds I was testing this one felt the most powerful
I used quite a bit of variety on the amulets except for marauder, which as i mentioned in the guardian section isn't recommended for new player, so marauder is a little more safe, theres also demolisher
the gm trait in scrapper increases all barrier you receive so it would increase barrier given by sanctuary rune, but you can definitely replace the rune, i just thought it would be tankier
@@Vallun I get that, I just have a feeling the quickness trait in GM could give you more sustain via the lifesteal. My main issue with Sanctuary is you dont get barrier from healing via alchemy traits.
In all seriousness, is D/D thief viable ? I see so many playing D/P or P/D compared to those how is it, iv only recently returned and love thief, but I feel like not got as much impact at other classes
Help me out! I'm here after seeing your WvW guide with 3 tips. I love revenant mostly for the hammer 2&3 and for the renegade skills which summons companions. However I stuggle putting together a build for myself witch is good and I can actually kill people win 1 v 1-s on WvW

im noticining after playing for 1 day that all of these build might have good sustain damage but you will get destroyed by people that have GOOD builds, i see build in pvp that do more heals and more damage than any of these... can you please make a video of some actual meta build for conquest.
pve raid fractl strike the good is druid, firebrand, mechanistthey can as sup tank dps, for pvp you dont gear hero point or level 80 just pick and try what class you play feel good
It's really no different than the warrior burst skills. Mirage axe 3 sends your clones to attack, and confuses your target. After that you can shatter them all with F2 which also confuses your target. When your target is confused, they hurt themselves whenever they try and use a skill. It's the 'stop hitting yourself' build. Shatter F3 dazes them, making them unable to use skills.
@@lucavidotti you could say bunker core is easier, though i dont know how effective it would be, and decap druid requires much more conquest awareness otherwise youd be in all the wrong places, and soulbeast in general is harder than core
@@Vallun ok, but I think it differently. To me ranger core is way more difficult than other specs. For rotation, for fights, ecc. Druid you learn it quickly than core or sb. Said that I agree with your amazing content you do on gw2! Your videos are pure gold for the game

Thanks for the Video. I struggled to find a relatively easy class, with enough sustain, to not just die in 3sec all while trying to learn pvp...
Subscribed, very well put together video enjoyable watch and gave me a view builds to see if i want to get into certain classes

This is really great! Tried some of the builds and they are all still valid in late 2022. Even after the xpac came out. At least in low rank spvp :)

@@Mesisir testing it now it seems to give barrier from backpack regen and from regen boon so not sure what the issue is

I prefer warrior, but they are shit as a free to play player, I've found necro core being the easiest and most successful
personaly still waiting for the day where thousand needles counts as/becomes a poison field, would make d/d condi so much better
