Ah, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. A damn good game(that's hard as hell)with some of the best sprite work I've ever seen. It also has the weirdest roster ever in a Street Fighter game. Despite all that, this and Ultra Street Fighter IV are some of my favorite Street Fighter, or hell, fighting games of all time. I fucking love this game.(the soundtrack kicks ass too)

Third Strike is a great game. Not only did it introduce Parries but it also gave us EX Specials and was one of the first SF games to put alot of emphasis on meter management (although Alpha 3 did have that style that gave you 3 Supers). It also brought alot of attention to the tournament scene with stuff like Evo Moment 37.

Also, you guy problably mistook Uriel for gill (he's essential a weaker playable recolor who is gill's brother) and, disturbingly, Q is an assassin who, if he pulls off his super move, outright kills the openly similar to Akuma, evil Ryu, and Evil(er?) Akuma

Like Dudley's has a hit box and can be used for oki, Q can taunt up to three times to give himself a bigger health bar, and iirc Hugo either does the same or buffs his attack. Sean's throws a basketball too I think. Also Sean has a basketball-douken. Which is stupid and awesome at the same time And Gil's specials change depending on which way he is facing

I can;t remember the name of their organisation but it is basically an Illumanti of sorts and they aim to take over the world and Gill wants to be it's ruler. Essentially Gill and Urien were CREATED to be the new rulers of the world...they are some kind of super beings. The Illuminati are so fanatical and arrogant that they laugh at all the other people in the series...especially Bison's group. Gill is like "you think we're interfering in your plans? No you silly little man...You're interfering in ours!!!!"
I cringed so much in this video because Johnny was wrong in almost all of his statements about 3rd strike example: Johnny said that Chun li came back in 2nd impact. Sorry for the nitpic but it is still a good video and was pretty fun to watch.
I am happy none of you are using gill the reason is that he is cheap at an incredible level and by the way you can unlock gill in the game by beating arcade mode with all the characters. however if you are going to go for it then get ready for cheapness.

I've not played 3rd strike on the dreamcast but from what I hear the better version out of the dreamcast version and the ps2 version the ps2 version is better

Maybe because I started with Smash, but I don't like having to memorize and quickly input a bunch of codes to perform the high damaging moves. That, and I prefer cross over fighting games over ones with completely original characters.

The only fighting games I play are Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs. Capcom, Super Smash Bros., Persona 4 Arena, sometimes Dead or Alive, and Tekken, which is probably my favorite fighting game series.

Agreed. For one thing, the dynamic music changers are actually timed PROPERLY. On the Dreamcast version, the music changes abruptly with each round.
