I am ALWAYS geeking on supplies. I even rearranged my little 'studio' room the past few days so that I can see more art supplies every day and be inspired by them! 😎
Hahaha I'm laughing at loud here at you nerding out on this set. I have my eye on this set too and you completely sold me to get it like yesterday. I can't choose a colour because you're swatching while I'm typing this but they all look absolutely delicious. Thanks so much for the upload!
One of the things I enjoy most about watching your videos is your reaction to the colours, Evie. Makes me happy every time. This set looks like a lot of fun.
I'm so excited for your future oil pastel videos🥳 Love the Morandi color palette and they look soo amazing❤Your enthusiasm is making me smile and want to play with my own art supplies😄 These Kuelox oil pastels might pair up nicely with the Paul Rubens oil pastels you recently reviewed.
Thanks Sinikka! I *love* knowing that its inspired you to play with your supplies too! 😍 And you're absolutely right, I need to get the giant pastels out too, and see how they perform together! 😘
I want to receive packages like this 🤩🤭 amazing colors and the textures are impressive!! When you opened the box my eyes went straight to the first row the yellow-orangish-browns probably because I'm on a Autumn phase colour! Enjoy your weekend and hope you have time to enjoy the oil pastels ;) P.S.- I always love your excitement with the materials and colours Evie 😊
Ha ha! Put contact info on your Channel's 'about' section and I'm sure they'll be emailing you too! 😉 How fun that you were drawn to the more autumnal colours Teresa! I'm planning on playing some more over the weekend, are you going to be 'arting' too? Have a fab weekend whatever you get up to Teresa! 😘
That’s clever, I never thought about putting my email there 🤣 I’m terrible on these kind of things! Today is day off but tomorrow I hope to do some art and attend a drawing session on YT 🤩 have fun with the oil pastels, looking forward to see what you create @@eviedivadoodles 😘
Omg I am obsessed with oil pastels so had to use your link to get them tomorrow (perk of living in usa) but for real the joy I felt in your video is infectious and they are pretty inexpensive so there is that and any alternative to sennilier though I love them as well is a win. Also as a side note I don’t like when the majority of the persons content is sponsorships but I don’t see any issue if sent something with no strings and it’s a good alternative to me it helps the over consumerism that can be seen (which I’m guilty of myself) in the world not just art but other “hobbies” or types of things that can be collected ie makeup diy etc - ok off soap box now lol
Oh, I hope you love them as much as I do Angela! They're priced much lower than I thought they would be, and I find that I'm more likely to use less expensive products when that higher 'cost' taken away. I guess my mind thinks they're *easier* to replace if I run out, vs more expensive / pro level art supplies (or other products too for that matter). I also received one other box set while away, which I also swatched out yesterday to get a feel for.. I will post that video in November I think. The one thing I am clear on with brands who email is that I won't recommend anything I don't like using and I won't work with a brand who's ethics look shady ... But re over consumerism.. I would love to look at studies that are done on the 'why'... as an example, my OH just took delivery of a set of four books. Tolkien ones. He had them already as individuals, he has them as a fancy box set, and he has a more basic set too. But he got these because *they were smaller and more portable.* To me its owning exactly the same thing multiple times and I laughed at him... but your comment has made me consider that actually, I have a specific color (lets say Prussian blue) in watercolor tubes, pans, oil pastels, color pencils etc etc.. how is that any different? How many Prussian blues do I actually need? 🤷♀️ And why do I feel like I need it (or any other color for that matter) in so many mediums or brands of the same medium? Fascinating to think about isn't it... but now, I'll get off my soap box too! 🤣
@@ultramarine_finest I like the Holbein’s that I have, only a small selection of 4, but they’re nice too! Have you tried the Neopastels from Caran D’Ache? I have those on my desk and enjoy them too.
@@eviedivadoodles no i havnt tried them yet, they are quite expensive and i couldnt find them in open stock...i already have a lot of mungya gallery and sennelier so i try to retain myself from buying all of them xD
@ ah, that makes perfect sense. I’ve only managed open stock via Jackson’s UK but I think I paid a premium for the few I have. I keep eyeing up a box set on Amazon NL, but I don’t *actually* need them.. 😆
Your swatch sheet is such a work of art 🎉. I really prefer the texture they have as opposed to smearing them. They are much less messy than soft pastels that I have tons of and don’t use anymore because I’ve developed breathing issues and soft pastels are a no-no. But arting will prevail 🎉❤
OH MY - I hope you work with them..... Just starting to watch.... it's gorgeous... Row 2 - 5 and 7 = they dissolve with alcohol - in a small jar with bruhes.... that's how you can use them freely. Enjoy.
Do you ever mix the paint with alcohol? I do, and it give such JOY and happiness! You know, you mush them together on paper with a brush dipped in rubbing alcohol. Fun, fun, fun!
Makes me feel better to know there are other people out there who geek out over art supplies ❤️
I am ALWAYS geeking on supplies. I even rearranged my little 'studio' room the past few days so that I can see more art supplies every day and be inspired by them! 😎
You are literally the voice in my head when I get new art supplies! The excitement and pure joy is infectious and I love every ounce of it. ❤
Ha ha, thanks Lucy! It is pure joy isn't it when we see all the gorgeousness of color? And to think I use to be *SUCH* a black and white person! 🤯😘
I love how excited you are about the pastels! They look gorgeous!
Ah, thanks Sasha! They are gorgeous, used them again last night. 😆😘

Oh, I do hope you love them as much as me Chris! I ended up using them for a live Patreon session this afternoon and they're gorgeous! 😍

Ah, thanks Kilby. To be fair, I am pretty excitable about lots of things in life! 🤣
I‘m excited for first row second from the bottom 😻😻 I love natural tones ☺️
Great choice, it's a beautiful one! 😍
The Morandi set is beautifully inspiring. Kuelox did a great job curating this set. These colours make me so inspired to create. ❤
It's so well curated isn't it? I love that there are no obvious bright primaries, it's just full of gorgeousness! ❤️
The pink third down on the second row is STUNNING!! 😍
805, a GORGEOUS dusky pink. 😍
Such a beautiful set! I am drawn to all of the colors. I like that they made the white and black much bigger.
They really are! And I loved the bigger white and black, much needed!

Row 3 #4 is totally what I picked before you said!!😂🎉❤
Ha ha, love that Susan! 😆😘
Thanks for the new video. Every time a little present to unwrap when they appear in my TH-cam feed
Ah, thanks Jessica! Can't beat a little art package unwrapping, especially if it hasn't broken the bank! 🤣

Row four. 💚💚💚
Oh my... I just pulled them back out to check, and those three colors on row 4 would make *SUCH* a gorgeous minimal palette! 🎨😍
i bought their Morandi set but with regular round forms... now i wish i had the squares instead! love that texture
The squares are divine! I wonder if they'll be on offer around Black Friday? 🤔 Can never have too many oil pastels (in my opinion anyway!) 🤣
@@eviedivadoodles i agree! would like to try the holbein oil pastels too!

Yes! Well, I used them with some W&N Sansodor this evening... after using them on a live Patreon session this afternoon. I a loving them....! 😍

Ooooh, I use Sansodor from Winsor & Newton with a gnarly brush, and that is great fun! 🤩
