This feels like everything I wanted the warcraft films to be. I never really thought about what it would look like for the orcs setting up camp in the destroyed Stormwind. Ogrim's tenuous position as Warchief and Guldan being an untrusted prisoner are such interesting moments to see in action. Really love the work you guys have put into this!

@@beiberns at the end of Wacraft 1 Human Campaign, Khadghar and Lothar search for Medivh and kill him. In the movie was changed a bit, they showed Medivh end fight scene in parallel with Gul'dan fighting with Lothar, but it should've been Doomhammer stopping Gul'dan and Lothar and Khadgar stopping Medivh. It's still cool how in the movie they showed the imporatance of Makgora and orc's honor.
Huge corporations are just terrible at world-building, they can only acquire stuff, but with all the corporate bullshit, talented people are too restricted in what they get to do with it. We have seen it with star wars and LotR and many others.
I agree, the dialogs are a little overwritten It makes those guys seem way too courteous for the uneducated warriors that they are😄 the visual part, though, is just amazing!
They have passion but they try to fuse together different parts of old and new lore and add stuff which were there never in either. Also weird choices like nekros being member of shadow council as he left them before first war and during first war was only a Warrior and only started using warlock arts again after human severed his legg in first war and warlocks powers were needed for use of demon soul. Or teron'gor living true first war as in every variant he died during purge of doomhammer. Or trying to Make rend and zul'jin friends and rend and maim being in every variant mentally on Childs level.
@@johannessimola1615 In the case of Rend and Maim, this is faithfull to the lore. They were among the kids the warlocks aged-up with magic to boost the numbers of the Horde. They are litterally 10 years olds in the body of adults.

So they both should Be alot mentally younger and use expressions which makes them sounds childish not mature respectful language which they used for doomhammer and they kept Back talking to orgrim and second guessing him to his face because they were so immature.

This is sooo well made! The dialogue of the orcs is a bit too human for my taste though. The orcs should talk more like brutes. like at [04:05]-[04:12]. Rend should not be be saying "that is a very generous proposition, warchief" it's too eloquent. more like "That is a generous offer, warchief. later on, instead of evaluate they should use gauge or measure

Amazing and so very believable! This cutscene could easily serve as outro to WC1, too, the devasted city of Stormwind is horrible for any Alliance player to see, while seeing the Horde banner there sends chills through every Horde player ... and even the banners of the individual clans! Saurfang, Rend, Maim, Gul'dan and the rest are excellent characters and you introduced them very well. Orgrim shows a strength which easily makes him the center of every scene he is in. If I have one point of critique, it is him not mentioning(to Saurfang) the dire situation they are in with so many resources and warriors lost. I'm not even sure if it is ever mentioned in the campaign that the clans of Draenor don't respond to his request(orders?) for their help.

I guess it would defeat the purpose of having a very cinematic/modern experience with highly detailed assets. Personally, I got used to the graphics after a few hours.
What I don't quite get is why the Horde is so much more popular than the Alliance. I'd much rather play the Human Campaign than the Orcs - at least the Humans weren't later retconned to suddenly being honorable

Thanks for the video. Can you tell me, please, what could be the reason that all missions are immediately open in my custom campaigns, even though I haven't even started playing them? The only exception is the Curse of the Forsaken, company for Sylvanas. In the rest, for some reason, all the missions are available at once.

No AI was used, and thank you! I am the voice of Gul'dan in this campaign for cut-scenes, and I'm humbled by your comment :) For the unit, it's the sound set from Heroes of the Storm.

One was more faithful to the original WC2; the other made up dialogue and cinematics based on what we know from WoW lore. When they decided to merge the projects they looked at the original WC2 maps stories, designed quests that made sense in those stories, added characters we know from official lore, made up the dialogue in a way that connects all events logically. I don't know all the details, but from my playthrough there isn't much that looks or sounds made up. It might as well be an official remake.

I downloaded the mod, but i cant interact with the buildings, skills all green and models all white in colors. Not sure if i need to download any mods to play this.

This works "Hey Guys, I just wanted to point out that I had texture issues on my PC when I used the TOD_Campaign_Assets.csw file the comes inside of the CSW - Installer and Assets.zip file. If you download the TOD_Campaign_Assets.csw file that is a separate download in the installation instructions from the wetransfer link. You will not have that issue." And you dont need to restart comp, worked for me not to restart.

It takes a lot of time and effort with all the new assets, audio, cinematics and maps and whatnot. I believe the human campaign will be released more quickly, since many things are already prepared.
If only Reforged was given a fraction of this love.

nope! I'm one of the voice actors and there's a discord full of us. Some of them are really talented, Guldan being one of my favorites!
Writing is oddly formal. These are orcs, not Victorian nobles. Everything else looks fantastic, though.
They're less formal further in the campaign, more like actual orcs.

The point of the project was to expand it with current WoW lore and make it look and play like a modern game.

I heard Reforged needs to be set to HD mode before installing, and after installation the PC must be restarted.

The walking animations of some characters looks very rigid and goofy. Maim and Cho'gall to name two.

Is the game fun to play?
It definitely is. Though I wouldnt recommend Hard difficulty.
So this is only the orc campaign? Why no human campaign?
It takes a lot of time and effort with all the new assets, audio, cinematics and maps and whatnot. I believe the human campaign will be released more quickly, since many things are already prepared.
