How I transitioned from low-skilled job to Tech as a PhD holder

I think we had the same training on Business Analyst with Mr Festus. I can relate to Oladapo's experience. Coming from Nigeria and having a PhD, then finding oneself in such low skill, low pay jobs can be demoralizing. WFH, family time, school runs, becoming a tutor to my kids are non-negotiables for me after my experience as a cleaner, pick parking, chicken factory worker, construction and disability. It's just more than the money!

I thank you for sharing your journey. I am Angolan, living in Scotland for years with my kids, trying hard to bring the wife to be with us. Your story is great motivation for many Africans that are around the world. I believe I have been to relax and lazy, I know I have the kids with me, one is 8 (boy) and other 4 (girl). I believe I can do better to secure a better job and be able to bring the Queen over. Once again thank you for sharing your amazing stories.
