I'd add some padding to the battery box . Kitchen Sponges ? Also , I'd make the box big enough for a lawn tractor battery . I love those pre fab bungs !

Great video👍🏼 love the look with that rear wheel, what size is that wheel looks just right. Have you thought about doing a video of building A whole custom bike? From start to finish? A big project but that would be something special.

As a machinist I winced when I saw how fast he was running that countersink. They should be run much slower than a drill, it will eliminate that chatter.

Hello. Please tell me how thick is the sheet metal used as a battery holder? I started making a battery holder with a 2 mm thick board and I have the feeling that it is a bit thick. Thanks

I think a weld nut under that battery strap would have made more sense and looked better but good job anyway :)

I assume you need the correct size battery or do you bend the strap?

Durable, probably. Looks great, not really. Functional, yes.
Why not weld that nut for the strap in place, and then never worry about it again?

Maybe that is how you would ride it, Bruce Kirk. I have ridden all over with guys on old bikes like this.. Coast to coast, through Baja..

Bruce Kirk lol have you bothered to watch their videos showcasing the 100s of mile rides they take on their rigids?
