Louise, I remember you telling me you were not a glitter person, lol. These are absolutely adorable and yes, you can see you put a lot of time into them. Thanks for sharing, and don’t be afraid of glitter. 🤣🤣🤣I love these
Louise I have been watching your channel for a long time and I can honestly say i have never been disappointed. You truly are an amazing artist. Hugs to you my friend 🤗💕💕😊
Lou these are absolutely stunningly Gorgeous ❤ Lots of work you put into these Gorgeous coasters. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. I really have to make these. A million warm hugs to you and your Mom ❤❤
I love watching your process. We are all human so seeing the learning process helps us learn what to expect. I have wanted to try something like this…. I’m hoping to have more time next week. Thank you for your suggestions and sharing the process
They're beautiful! I'm so happy you posted this today. I have to add two stickers to a resin base and I was worried about how to stick them on into the mold. Now I know what to do. Thank you, Louise. A lot of work went into these but they are stunning.
I just love them. They are all amazing!!even when it’s hard you make it seem doable, I love how your mind come what these unique ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my gosh Lou you’re so creative !! I have learned so much from you & this project certainly is no different !! These coasters turned out stunning 😍 & so magical looking!! Thank you so very much for sharing this amazing project Lou !! Have a great week
They look great, you showed a lot of patience, the trees and house one is my favourite because the background is so good. My son loves snow globes at Christmas so I’m going to try this out, thank you for showing us.
😮😮😮😮 ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤ LOVE THESE SO SO MUCH. Your creativity is beautiful and inspirational. Will be saving this tutorial and hopefully I can try it and do it justice.
VERY pretty. Yes the one with more glitter....the one with the Ferris Wheel was my favorite. A LOT of work, but then the first try is usually more work. WEL DONE ! 🤍
Gorgeous! You could try poking a small hole in the top layer of acetate before the final layer and filling the center with your liquid, seal it with a tiny dab of uv resin, then top it off with regular resin. It may be a little easier if you haven't tried that method yet.
Beautiful like everything you do! Love! Louise, you can glue that next gluestick together with the first one just warming it with the top of your gluegun. No pressing needed.
They're so pretty! Could you re-drill the holes (or make new ones,) drain out the oil, and add glycerine and water? You could add more glitter at that point as well.
Hey you just gave me a 💡 moment ~ instead of the liquid mixture ~ make little dent’s in resin and chrome pen them~ then add the stainless steel paint mixing ball’s (Amazon) in them ~ the resin coaster’s then become a game!! Would make a fantastic stocking filler!!
I made these but I used the rimmed coaster mold. And just filling the resin just over the rimmed edge and across the entire mold a little bit. Made 2 shallow rimmed coasters. And put the rimmed edges together to make the space for the water.
*OH, LOU! I LOVE THEM!* How absolutely lovely and magical these are!😍💕😊 * Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they're magical! 😁😘 Oh, I really like the UV/glitter edging! I would never have thought to do that! 😊👍 My absolute favorite is yours, then the Christmas Market scene! P.S. Wouldn't it be easier to dry the filling holes, then plug with a wee bit of UV resin? P.P.S. You might be able to fix the baby oil one (a hassle, I know), but if you can get out about 1/2 the oil, then refill with isopropyl alcohol (& more glitter?)..reseal the holes with glittery UV...?.
I have been wanting to make a snow globe but there are not any of those globes out there with a hollow middle! Watching you make these adorable coasters and then making that insert with silicone has given me an idea… I can either take some of my silicone putty like yours and make a ball to insert into one of my large globe moulds or I can use one of the smaller globe moulds and fill it with silicone to make a perfect silicone ball… but I have to be careful and use a lot of mould release if I go that route since silicone will stick to the silicone moulds!
Thank you for your comment. I like your idea but I think that it will work better to fill your inner mould with sand or small stones. then you can tip them out afterwards and the mould will still be flexible enough to remove.
Im a 3D lover. Im still a bit confused on how your creating a higher level to place your foreground stickers? I wonder if there are other ways to create a barrier between the fore/back grounds? I do love how you you decided to finish the pieces around the edges… Any suggestions will be helpful. As always I’m quite inspired…
good question. UV resin might work but I was concerned that the drop of resin would land on the water and cause water to raise up around the sides of the hole. with the hot melt glue, it sticks to the resin before it has chance to touch the water.
thank you, just have a try and see what happens ❤️ most of my things are given as gifts. I make things for the purpose of the video rather than to sell.
I think they are magical too! Beautiful scenes in them! Far too pretty to put a cup or glass on! ☺️ Thank you Louise for a great tutorial. ☺️💐🫶🏻
Thank you! 😊

I agree with you. If I made them again it would be much easier and better too 👍❤️

@ I was talking about making a silicone ball by filling a mould with the silicone… but I don’t want the silicone to stick to the mould…

I’m going to share this video on Laura’s Art Corner Facebook.
You sweetheart, thank you Laura ❤️❤️
❤❤❤
❤
They are gorgeous, just one question can you reuse the silicone puck ♥️♥️♥️
👍
New & wondering why you did use a drop of UV to seal hole ? LOve them!!

This is great. I’m tempted to try it but I’m pretty much a beginner so I’m wary. But what do you do with the things you make?
thank you, just have a try and see what happens ❤️ most of my things are given as gifts. I make things for the purpose of the video rather than to sell.
You always amaze me. These are absolutely stunning!
