Thank you. I've never used cling film that used a zipsafe before, and would never have thought to look /inside/ the box to find it. Instead I went and ordered a "replacement" one, and when it arrive I had no idea how to install it (it doesn't have the adhesive on it, think it snaps around the box itself). It wouldn't have occurred to me to look inside the box, and I likely wouldn't have done so till I'd used it up, and at 3000' that would have taken quite some time.
Today it's raining so I'm finally addressing how this box is put together after some frustrating times of making a mess of the film by cutting it with anything available except the blade provided. Who knew that TH-cam would have a video for this?? Unfortunately, my box is different that what you have so I'll need to keep watching. Thanks for helping others.
I got the Kirkland brand that has a box very similar to the one in this video but the slide cutter attaches much differently. I love the slide cutter on any plastic wrap box because I’m notorious for the getting the wrap all stuck together without it. 😊 I couldn’t figure out how to get the slide cutter on my Kirkland brand plastic wrap but found another video (in Asian language) but somehow figured it out.
I used to use the film right out of the box, until I discovered & purchased the KenKut 3. It is a (12" to 18") Film and Foil Dispenser with Cutter. It easily holds an 18" 500 square foot roll of film. It's 100% more sanitary & 100% more professional than the cardboard cutter box.
