But Grubby is a damn master at unit optimization and delay tactic. Most of his games are so damn good at delay and turn the table it is art. To do that with night elf is even harder.
Exactly!! There was nothing extraordinary from Grubby's side; he was just being his normal self(high level). But the dimwitted UD player did indeed THROW the game, though he had it in the bag at around 14:23, but instead decides to up and leave(retreat) rather than making the final push! He managed to kill all bears till that point and needed only finish off the remaining(few) dryads and the warden.
Can anyone tell me why people tend to not lock a second ability with warden at lvl 2? They seem to always select the same abilities had they just gone blink dagger blink dagger etc
Grubby my man. Can you tell me why you never focus the DK? He kept healing any unit you attacked and negated your efforts. Once you started focusing him, you drove him away and were free to decimate his army. That or using the DR against his coils would be my only suggestions.
Usually undead players keep potions of invulnerability or potions of healing on their DK, so focusing them down can be hard because they just pop the potions when you think you are going to kill then. Plus DK is fast and can get out of peril easily.
Dk is tanky, fast and players take death pact at lvl4 ... so with pots dks are nearly unkillable and focusing dk will have your army chase around theirs, which means easy pickings for ud ranged
Is it just me or was his plug in on his talents slow to update this game on the warden? Level six said he was 2 and 2 on dagger and fan and 1 on his ultimate but no free talents when he clicked the warden
So we have an UD without micro and NE without macro. Terrible mistakes from UD to fight without invuls and not to coil his heroes (which is the basic when playing UD), terrible mistakes from grubby not to scout UD and being pretty much wondered with army of wyrms, harras UD (which has DL) expo without TP, not making nature blessing etc. That one was not really entertaining to watch, no offense
