Honestly, my favorite character in this entire series was the Riddler. It was just so interesting on how he was done. It intrigued me so much, I honestly feel like this is the best Riddler done so far. He's just so interesting in the show.

The top 3 are perfectly ranked. Cameron Monaghan was a perfect live action Joker and easily the most enjoyable villain in the series. When he got killed off, I was very disappointed. I was so glad he returned and Jeremiah was amazing too! Riddler is actually my favourite character on Gotham.
yeah hes just so original. i love his final costume with his hat, he is even a good enough leader to send multiple groups of his men to attack and defend simultaneously, and his scythe just perfects it. hes #1 on my list. i think there should totally be a tv show or at least a movie all about him.

Jerome is the wildly unpredictable, psychopathic side that must wants to cause as much chaos, as much carnage, as much pandemonium as he possibly can. Jeremiah is the colder, calculating, sociopathic side of the Joker, the criminal mastermind who creates plans of sheer brilliance.

I feel like the show made me like Penguin a little too much. He viciously killed plenty of people, but he was so nice to Martin or helped someone unexpectedly. He was a necessary evil on the show, that made things 'civil' in Gotham. lol He kept criminals at bay, even made them get crime permits. haha Honestly, with how f'd up everything is in Gotham, I would totally vote for him as Mayor.
The only thing that annoyed me about victor zsasz was that we only saw him mark his skin with a cut once and he only wore suits but in the comics he doesn't wear a shirt and shows off his markings clearer also in the comics he uses knives most of the time but in gotham he uses mostly guns.

Actually jerome is more of the joker people like to see jeremiah in my and the majority of fanbases opinion a downgrade as far as joker performances go. (Yeah i know same actor but very different character designs)
Sophia Falcone is that type of villain that is so amazing because it makes both the characters and viewers hate her. Edit: my fav villains 1-Penguin 2-Riddler/Edward 3-Jerome 4-Tie between Sophia and Zsasz 5-Madhatter

I felt the Bane storyline was kind of weak. I don't understand why every live action version of him is turned into a pawn/lackey of another villain. Nyssa Al Ghul was completely unnecessary. The show established a solid reason for Bane to try to destroy Gotham on his own (revenge against Gordon) adding her wanting revenge against Bruce was pointless and made him look weak.

I really wish that Firefly had more of a presence, I loved her character and their attempt of giving her a back story was nice but after that they just kinda forgot about her until Oswald had both her and Freis as henchmen. I just wish she had more of a presence
I personally enjoyed Jerome Valeska more than Jerimiah. Probably because he was there first but also because he has more chaotic energy, Jerimiah is planning a lot. In General I agree with your listing a lot! I personally would do it pretty similar
I prefer Jerome too. Not only was he here first, but he also had 4 seasons of development from just some sick circus boy to well-known criminal, even feared by the ones like the Penguin, and even mentioned as one of the most dangerous criminals, such as Penguin and Fish Mooney. He alone managed to convince thousands of people to embrace their own madness, much like how the Joker inspires others to do the same, thus because of this a cult that worshipped him came to fruition and started a city-wide riot on his own. He was able to make you laugh on his silly jokes in one moment and creep you out because of how evil and insane he was in the next second. He was quite narcissitic, he called Dwight handsome, just because Dwight literally wore Jerome's face. Jeremiah was so overconfident and egotistical that it's just not fun anymore. Jerome was overconfident too, but at least he was able to channel it in a charismatic and fun way.

I agree Penguin should've been #1. Partly because I doubt the show would've made it past the first season without him. He basically carried season 1, being far more interesting than the heroes. Even when he wasn't as much of a main character in later seasons, his storylines were often far more interesting than those of the heroes.
I'm sorry Bridgit doesn't do shit in the show, Shes just some "scary freak" that waves a flamethrower around. (seriously that flamethrower has more personality than her) and she doesnt accomplishes anything Atleast Freeze had an origin and froze Riddler, but firefly was just boring.

Not really. Jerome was like mix of Joker's. He has nihillistic views similar to Ledger's Joker, has the charisma and showmanship of Hamill's ( Arkhamverse ) Joker, the prankstery nature of the 60's Joker and the goofiness of Nicholson's Joker. While Jeremiah was the mixture of the Dark Knight Returns Joker and the later, some parts of the Animated Series Joker.
My favourite character was the penguin, his story and stuff is so interesting, i also rlly like tetch, victor, riddler, joker and so many more, they just make dc so good
Penguin's always been a well-known Batman villain, but this show really brought him into the spotlight. I was also super thankful that they mostly stayed away from the Danny DeVito-style Penguin and instead went with a more comics-accurate depiction.

Actually jerome is more of the joker people like to see jeremiah in my and the majority of fanbases opinion a downgrade as far as joker performances go. (Yeah i know same actor but very different character designs)

I felt the Bane storyline was kind of weak. I don't understand why every live action version of him is turned into a pawn/lackey of another villain. Nyssa Al Ghul was completely unnecessary. The show established a solid reason for Bane to try to destroy Gotham on his own (revenge against Gordon) adding her wanting revenge against Bruce was pointless and made him look weak.

I really wish that Firefly had more of a presence, I loved her character and their attempt of giving her a back story was nice but after that they just kinda forgot about her until Oswald had both her and Freis as henchmen. I just wish she had more of a presence

I personally enjoyed Jerome Valeska more than Jerimiah. Probably because he was there first but also because he has more chaotic energy, Jerimiah is planning a lot.

I prefer Jerome too. Not only was he here first, but he also had 4 seasons of development from just some sick circus boy to well-known criminal, even feared by the ones like the Penguin, and even mentioned as one of the most dangerous criminals, such as Penguin and Fish Mooney. He alone managed to convince thousands of people to embrace their own madness, much like how the Joker inspires others to do the same, thus because of this a cult that worshipped him came to fruition and started a city-wide riot on his own. He was able to make you laugh on his silly jokes in one moment and creep you out because of how evil and insane he was in the next second. He was quite narcissitic, he called Dwight handsome, just because Dwight literally wore Jerome's face. Jeremiah was so overconfident and egotistical that it's just not fun anymore. Jerome was overconfident too, but at least he was able to channel it in a charismatic and fun way.
Why is frickin freeze, court of owls and zsasz higher than mad hatter and professor pyg, also, as much as I love riddler and Jerome, penguin should be 1 AND where. Is. Jeremiah. Valeska

Jeremiah wasn't that great.
I agree Penguin should've been #1. Partly because I doubt the show would've made it past the first season without him. He basically carried season 1, being far more interesting than the heroes. Even when he wasn't as much of a main character in later seasons, his storylines were often far more interesting than those of the heroes.
Bc Professor Pig just turned out to be stupid actor so that ruined his whole character. And Zsasz is awesome

Not really. Jerome was like mix of Joker's. He has nihillistic views similar to Ledger's Joker, has the charisma and showmanship of Hamill's ( Arkhamverse ) Joker, the prankstery nature of the 60's Joker and the goofiness of Nicholson's Joker. While Jeremiah was the mixture of the Dark Knight Returns Joker and the later, some parts of the Animated Series Joker.
Zsasz was truly underrated, definitely top 5 villain. It goes to show how well every villain was cast in gotham.

Penguin's always been a well-known Batman villain, but this show really brought him into the spotlight. I was also super thankful that they mostly stayed away from the Danny DeVito-style Penguin and instead went with a more comics-accurate depiction.
This is why i love Batman. All the villans has very interesting plots and costumes. I also love the bat.
