Have you thought of developing a roller attachment now that Countax/Westwood has vanished from the scene? Also if you could make your bearings out of cheese and your electrics from tin foil that would also replicate the Countax experience.

An interesting video showing how capable the machine is and the resulting state of the ground looks very good and clean. It would be helpful to be shown the actual design of the back axle and the chute configuration along with the drive shaft design and layout so that the viewer can compare to other machines of similar size.

Thank you for your feedback Donal, some more information can be found on our SXG videos produced, if not please get in contact and either us or your local dealer can show you the design of the mower in more detail.

Sorry but we've had a SXG22 for years, recently replaced the deck with the new design PTO drive and it' still pretty junk at collecting in the wet. Grass collects in the throat of the deck and builds out from the corners of the little V plate at the bottom of the throat. We have tried all combinations of opening the vents, height of cut, speed.. Nothing really helps. Small lengths as you demonstrate aren't a problem, actually doing "work" though is, unless you enjoy having to go an "empty" a load out that is barely half a wheelbarrow and then poke out the blockage before going back again, time consuming and frustrating.
Get rid of that damned "V" plate and those corners that cause the buildup to begin.

Thank you for your message, sorry you are having problems with your SXG22. Please can you give us a call on 01473 599266 and we can arrange for someone to come and see you. It could be the deck isn't set up quite right as the power from the deck should push the grass straight through to the back of the collector no problem.

Hello, how much area can you mow in 1 hour?

It is very difficult to say due to so many variables for example turning, constant changing of speed, density of grass, inclines etc to name just a few but the full mowing speed is approximately 7 1/2 mph and deck width is 48" for an SXG323+ in particular. Without allowing for turning or overlap at full speed it would be up to 3.6 acres per hour but allowing for turns and overlap at an approximate 15% reduction, you get approx 3 acres per hour at full speed. Most people cut at around 5mph so theoretically maximum cut would be 2.4 acres per hour, then allowing for turns and overlaps at 15% reduction would make it approximately 2 acres per hour. Please note these are approximate figures but hopefully gives you an idea.

How did you get it to reverse so fast? Mine has a "Thing" on it that stops or slows you when you go backwards........... Excellent Mower though :))
