    You explain things very well, and this is very good preparation for General Chemistry II as I start next week. You explain more of 'WHY' than 'WHAT,' which is helpful for full comprehension. I'll be looking at your videos for help throughout the semester. Thank you, sir. (:

    will specific heat of a substance always be given?

      Hi Hanna, yes it should be given ... unless it's water, in which case we know it's 1.000 cal/gC or 4.184 J/gC.
