Congratulations on your Honda XL 250 restoration! 🎉 It's an impressive achievement, and I'm sure the hard work you put into it has paid off. Enjoy the ride once she’s up and running and relish the pride of bringing new life to such a classic bike! 🏍️👏
Hi! My boyfriend and I followed your tutorial for the restoration of our Honda, thank you very much! We have a question, We are in trouble because We don’t have the collar swingarm center, did you have in your Honda? Thank you, cheers from Italy🇮🇹
Hi, i did have to source parts from all over the world with some bits missing, but I did have a collar if I remember correctly. Sorry I can’t be more help it was a while ago when I did this build. Good luck with your restoration.
At the minute I’m using original aparts from the grips and gators for the front forks, it’s certainly cost me on little bits that were missing on the bike, I’ve had to source bit from all over Oz/Canada/USA but I’m trying my hardest to keep it as original as possible. Many thanks for the interest and comment 👍
Great videos. Currently considering an old XL250 that’s been stored, are there any issues (insurance, tax etc) if the bikes been imported a few years ago ?
I personally couldn’t provide any info regarding when the bike was bought into the country. I sent the eBay receipt and photos etc and it had an inspection but I didn’t pay any import tax. I just said I wasn’t sure on the date it came into the county but I believe it was a while ago.
