I just experienced something like this today. The boyfriend of a female coworker at my job called me up today saying he would have to beat me up because I body shamed his girlfriend. I kept telling him that I didn’t know what he was talking about. I was friends with his girlfriend and she knows I’m not that type of person. When he called me, I was so shook and confused. Unfortunately I couldn’t get through to him. So now I’ll just continue to live my life and not even think about it. Somebody at my job must’ve made up a lie.

I had a guy who I worked with who would tell me to do random jobs. I had just been trained up on a new job and told by trainer not to do any other jobs on the side as I had to make sure machinery was working properly. This guy asks me to do some jobs that I'm not trained on. I said thats not my job or even in my department, I was just doing what I was trained to do. If I left to do something else and something when wrong, that was on me. He proclaimed that he was a manager. I found out later that he wasn't. He tried to get me into trouble with the real management. I get called to the office. I told management that I was just doing as I had been told to do, but I also mentioned that he'd been bothering me allot. He ends up getting into trouble because the management saw he wasnt working on camera. After that someone approched me and said that he had said to tell me that he 'hated me' and had been putting in a bad word to everyone. I ended up losing my job and got put in a lower role. The worst thing about it was noone told me that I was being replaced on my job. Someone else walked in and just took over what I was doing one day.
That sounds like a seriously toxic work environment & it only enables dipshits like the one asking you to do his work because the communication from the management is non existent

Matt the person who lied about me at the time wasn't a public figure but she had many things going for her. Then in an instant karma changed everything straight after she spread the biggest LIE about me.

Currently dealing with that on a theme park project I am working on. Claiming that I am discriminating those on the autism spectrum. Yet me and half of the team working on it are on the spectrum ourselves. It is absolutely frustrating and mental draining. Like it hurts so much.
But regardless. I gotta move on and hope that the Truth will prevail one day.

Someone told lies about me last year and when one of the lies was said to be false, said person was called a liar and was bashed by multiple people sometime following it. I'm no longer angry because this person got a taste of what they were putting me through. Oddly enough said person sought sympathy and tried to say most of what was said wasn't true. Ironically, it was the act of trying to bash me was one of the things that became the catalyst for it all. When you talk about others, others will talk about you.

People are cowards by nature because its easy to judge from a distance than to get to know who a person is. I keep people at arms length because you have to in order to keep your sanity. At my job people are rude, dismissive, judgmental all the time....yet simultaneously so damn fascinated by me that they do anything and I mean ANYTHING to get fraction of my energy or a clue about what makes me tick. How psychotic is that? However, let it be their psychosis. Think of it as an extremely backwards complement.

Alot of times even proving them wrong will still not change anything. Most people will believe what they want to believe regardless of how generous, real and authentic you are to others. My best bet has always been to separate myself from that environment and not associate with those people at all. There are alot of people with no tact or ability to think for themselves and will follow the crowd. They are sheep and wolves dont lose sleep over the opinions of sheep!

I had this happen to me a few times in high school. I been out of high school almost 40 years now. I been away from my hometown now for 20 years. Just a few friends, I haven’t had any contact with classmates since I graduated. I don’t know why but to this day some of those same people for some strange reason are gossiping about me . I have not seen or heard from these people since high school. You would would think, times passed, we all move on in our lives such as finishing college, working,starting a family or moving away to settle yourself or wherever. We all differ and that’s OK but sadly some people never grow up and some of these people will just assume the worst in you and haven’t seen you in years.

Too true. These people are deeply miserable, have far too much time on their hands, and nothing going on in their lives. As soon as I get an inkling that someone is the type to whisper/gossip about people, I keep my distance, and deal with them with a long handled spoon. Misery loves company!

I know i am guilty of it, but I try not to talk bad on people in a way that spreads rumors. If I need to vent I go to someone I know isnt going to gossip
It's so hard for me to forgive because I am a loyal person. I try my hardest to treat people good but its hard when they hurt you. I had a really close friend of mine, and we were venting to eachother and I told her one thing that pisses me off is when someone undermines my intelligence. Anyway I work with her 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, and she eventually started being really mean to me. And she called me stupid and smirked... Saying "just kidding" as if thats a pass on intentionally insulting me. The next day she interrupted me and was super rude. Anyway now we work in different areas and i havent talked to her since. I know we are supposed to forgive one another, as God forgives our sins... But its so hard, because I would never intentionally hurt her like that. I pray God gives us the strength to forgive those who have wronged us, because we should be examples of his children representing heaven on earth

Neither light nor dark can directly affect the outcome of things until the final battle. A humbling fact is that we are as pawns. A pawn doesnt know who crafted it. A pawn is unaware that it is being moved by a human. It cannot possibly imagine what a human is, nor what a human is capable of. It cant even see or hear the human. All it knows is the chess board. The grind. The 9-5.
Scary fact is, most pawns dont know which side they fight for. If you allow evil to happen, and do nothing, you are responsible for the suffering of others. That is why we fight. For our loved ones, for our animals, for our enemies. We must love everyone and be an example of how humans should treat eachother. This life is a gift given to us by a creator we don't understand, or cant remember. Treat this life as a chance to show your creator love in every way! In the vital nutritious food you eat, in the way you selflessly help others, the way you smile and treat even the least insect with grace and respect! Be a flower! Blossom into the beautiful happy being you were before we let society dictate us :)

I have people like that at my job I can never get away from these people like never everytime I see this person it’s always a problem she always trying to look for something bad in me I just wish she can disappear I don’t have to see her face again I don’t want to be around this person because this person is toxic I can’t have that around me because I will become like them too so in order for me to be happy I have to keep my distance from people like this.

Jealousy drives a lot of gossipers: they always have some juicy tidbit of info they're trying to scatter around, and it's mostly (if not always) lies and tall tales. Don't associate with gossips and busybodies: they're nobody's friend.

Those type of people are also called narcissists. Spreading lies around and gossip is their biggest 'red flag'. Your advice is spot on, because we indeed need to focus on our own character. This is the reason I'm a very private person. Because I dont want people spreading things about me. But I've learned that even when you are private some people may try to manufacture lies about you based on some simple known facts about you....smh. People who spread lies are usually jealous of you because their lives are miserable and they want to drag you down to their level. It's best to just stay quiet when someone is spreading rumors because those that know you well wont care and wont think less of you regardless. There is a person who was spreading rumors about me and I confronted her aggressively. Ever since then she has been spreading rumours about me and doing malicious things and pinning the blame in me. She has pitted many people against me and everyone is taking her sides. I'm now on the verge of being kicked out of my apartment because of this ugly evil woman! I want to clear my name. Same happend to me. Was talking to a guy and some jealous people thought it was fun to ruin it by spreading rumors that i fucked other guys and that person even went so far to show 'evidence'. He showed conversations with a girl he probably fucked and just put my name there to make it look it was me. The guy I spoke with wanted time but i have heard he is talking shit about me too now. I have been putting all my energy in trying to find evidence so yesterday I went to the rumor spreader and have now everything on camera. But you know what, now that i porved my point, I don't even want to interact with the guy I spoke with because why should I have to put this much time and effort into someone who just wants to believe others. I SHOWED him the real me and he still believed the rest. If it's meant to be, it will be. That means that neither the guy i spoke with nor the girl you spoke with were meant for us. Just ignore them, you don't have to prove them anything and if she wants to believe them, it's her loss.
Get away from all of these people. They do not care about you. Focus on building your life and head towards a positive direction. We are in the last days and morals are at an all time low.
Also, if you aren't offended by people teasing you, especially if their younger, just smile. It will show that they are never going to get through to you and they will eventually get bored

Reminds me of my ugly landlord who a few days ago banged on my door and threatened me to open it. And now she acts all defensive and a victim. The many abuse I've endured because of her unwillgness to help me dealing with people who were abusing me and for her to go after me and abuse me. She doesn't have the willingness to discuss the matter because she doesn't have the ability to carry out a logical and civilized discussion. She is a liar.

I've been in the situation of being lied on. When people treat people differently based on alleged accusations, they are weak folks with very gaolable and influenced minds. That says something about them and the quality of their character and personality. In a way they are the victims because of the way they can easily be lied to and mislead and preyed on.

I'm being called a "snitch" which is some elementary thing to say in high School, and this person just keeps telling everyone about it , when it is obviously lies since he doesn't even know what happened, or has any proof. he talks behind my back but never comes up to me. i don't know what to do I'm just planning to stand up for myself but im usually the anti- social person who does not talk to people, I'm a serious person and only talk to certain people. it's giving me stress for no reason when I know I shouldn't be worrying about something that is a lie but, everyone stares at me now.

Park Jiminie honestly, i dont see anything wrong with being a "snitch". The people in my class use that term all the time and its why i never really see people getting told on by the actual student. If your telling a teacher that someone is doing something wrong, then your improving the learning environment and helping other people learn. Its just an endless cycle of people getting involved in things that they shouldn't be. Someone being called a snitch really is a stupid thing to call someone as they are doing the right thing. My friends on the bus were talking to this frenemy of ours and he pointed out my friend saying "you think that because you like to learn" in a sarcastic voice which is honestly really stupid. If you like to learn, its going to lead you to a great life. Besides, even if you won't have a friend in school, you should have a friend outside of school who can understand your situation and help you.
As a victim who's going through a tough time where I fear that my own family (except my younger brother, half sister and sone aunts, uncles, grandparents who are very sadly no longer with us anymore, family members who I haven't had contact with for years) have spread lies about me......yet there's a nasty inkling that it's true.
For example, they would sometimes say things such as I never went to anyone's house, I never tried new things, I hogged all the attention away from my siblings, I had issues with other children getting praised, I never stood up for myself, I never socialised or shared my things, I only liked cats, I only liked the colours pink red green and purple and it's making me doubt my own life, my purpose and so forth.
I'm actually scared I will develop an ED or do the unthinkable.

Just found out my brother has been spreading lies about me to other people. He said that I have been ringing his phone day and night non stop, causing harrassment. He even told this to my niece. HIS daughter. Lying to your own daughter that's bad. I stopped speaking to my brother because my niece was believing his shit. Strange behaviour from him. The thing is, I used to ring him once or twice a week, that's all. Now I don't ring him at all. I have changed my number.
Good for you! I cut off my brother many years ago, and I would do it again. He spread awful lies about me, too. He turned MANY people against me, including, but not limited to, his 1st + 2nd wives, his 2 children (my niece + nephew), + even the borough mayor's 2 sons! He is a horrible person, + today, he is A-L-O-N-E! Haha!

I learned that the flying monkeys are themselves bullies, and could therefore relate to narcissistic bullies like my garbage brother, and my high school classmate Mike, who was a pipsqueak with a HUGE Napoleon complex. Well the person who spread a big LIE about me is a public figure with many Instagram followers. She lied to her husband, to my husband. I confronted her on a telephone call and she admitted she lied about me. I went to her house and confronted her husband. This person has told many lies to the police and her ex and former husband, she tried to blame her divorce on us when she was the one who messed up. this person has a 1st class degree, lives in a good sized house, and has appeared on a very well known TV series. Karma got her so bad her whole world collapsed. So much changed in her life. MOREL of story-- TRUST YOUR instincts with people no matter how long you have known them for. DONT LET THEM INTO YOUR LIFE and don't do business with them.
I know i am guilty of it, but I try not to talk bad on people in a way that spreads rumors. If I need to vent I go to someone I know isnt going to gossip
It's so hard for me to forgive because I am a loyal person. I try my hardest to treat people good but its hard when they hurt you. I had a really close friend of mine, and we were venting to eachother and I told her one thing that pisses me off is when someone undermines my intelligence. Anyway I work with her 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, and she eventually started being really mean to me. And she called me stupid and smirked... Saying "just kidding" as if thats a pass on intentionally insulting me. The next day she interrupted me and was super rude. Anyway now we work in different areas and i havent talked to her since. I know we are supposed to forgive one another, as God forgives our sins... But its so hard, because I would never intentionally hurt her like that. I pray God gives us the strength to forgive those who have wronged us, because we should be examples of his children representing heaven on earth

Thats what it is folks. The grand secret. We have good ("angels") and bad ("demons") interdimensional dieties indirectly affecting our reality. Every person in a position of power, on tv, a wealthy person etc i believe is being controlled by evil spirits. Call it the illuminati, cabal, vatican, brotherhood of darkness whatever... They exist. All roads lead to Rome. Do your research. Pray the holy spirit of our righteous creator fills you with wisdom and eyes to see and ears to hear!
Neither light nor dark can directly affect the outcome of things until the final battle. A humbling fact is that we are as pawns. A pawn doesnt know who crafted it. A pawn is unaware that it is being moved by a human. It cannot possibly imagine what a human is, nor what a human is capable of. It cant even see or hear the human. All it knows is the chess board. The grind. The 9-5.
Scary fact is, most pawns dont know which side they fight for. If you allow evil to happen, and do nothing, you are responsible for the suffering of others. That is why we fight. For our loved ones, for our animals, for our enemies. We must love everyone and be an example of how humans should treat eachother. This life is a gift given to us by a creator we don't understand, or cant remember. Treat this life as a chance to show your creator love in every way! In the vital nutritious food you eat, in the way you selflessly help others, the way you smile and treat even the least insect with grace and respect! Be a flower! Blossom into the beautiful happy being you were before we let society dictate us :)

Jealous people are some of the main ones who spread lies. Instead of confronting you about the truth they rather make you look bad in the eyes of others. I really believe that the main reason might be jealously or maybe they may have been offended in some way. It takes a real person to try and correct the issue.

Man what happens when people are insane and make up lies and then wholeheartedly believe those lies? How does it look that your entire life fell apart which the lie you made up, they used against you and set you yp and took your whole life apart and your kids are with different strangers, some being abused and instead of praying, you lie on people.
My son's nasty girlfriend tried to turn my own daughters against me by talking sh*t about me. My daughters weren't having it and told her off and to never disrespect me again.

annalise D Tell a teacher or friend/adult who you think will care and help. If that doesn’t work, confront her-if you don’t want to, I suggest you try become friends with her/her friends, and some how get dirt on her, or something you can create into a rumour. I know you might want to be better than that and not be as bad as her, not stoop to her level, but I personally think just try fight fire with fire, if you do it too these stereotypes, they usually stop. She spreads your shit, you spread her shit. I’m so sorry, this is just my opinion, good luck.
