Knitting and Crocheting my Hufflepuff House to Victory!

- Hello, my fellow yarnie friends!
Today we are going to Hogwarts! That is right, time to leave the muggle world to a world filled with flavored jelly beans that can turn you green and where the frogs are chocolate and can jump away. We are going to be the best students we can be by crafting up all the points to bring my sorted house, Hufflepuff to victory in 2024! So grab your broom, and your Butter Beer (in my case hot tea), and let's see what January has in store for this Hogwarts, knitting and crochet student!
In today's video, I am going to be telling you about the Harry Potter House Cup! This is a game of sorts but also a craft-along that can be found on Ravelry... While it does have a lot of parts to learn it is so much fun and I am excited to have been sorted once again after taking an almost 5-year break! I can not wait to get to class, so to speak, and get to craft up some new and fun projects to share with you. All of the patterns talked about in this video will be under the patterns section in this video description.

There were pieces that I liked in a couple of the HPpublications, but nothing I wanted to make. I just really appreciated other people's ingenuity in designing things. So much thought and math!
I love the Gollum that Susan made. So cute!
I missed the Harry Potter boat but just seeing you happy and hearing your stories is fun!
I am so happy!! I wrote down a brief description of each class and planning. I also plan on starting on one of the projects to night!!!!!!!!! My hubs saw the book and said, So we are back at Hogwarts? lol His knows I can get a little obsessive about it.

What a cool year long event!! I had never heard of that, that is so fun! Ravenclaw here, but most of my friends are Hufflepuffs hehe
I was sorted by Pottermore as Ravenclaw once, but then when it switched to Wizarding World I had to "Retest" and was Hufflepuff and each time after I was Hufflepuff.

Yes, I gave you the notebook. I forgot where I got it though. I found it and bought like 7 or 8 copies. I gave one to two of my nieces, one to you, and some to other people that I knew liked Harry Potter.

I can not remember where my hubs got this from. I remember he preordered it at the time for me and it came in this huge box! I always have it sitting on a random stuffed animal. It just makes me smile. It is random, so I am not even going to tell you how many shots it took to get the few-second video clip. lol 😆
I participate in the Starfleet Fiber Arts Corp, which, based on my reading, is easier than the HP House Cup. Good luck!
Yea House Cup has a lot of moving parts so to speak. I am very OCD and love planning and detail, which is why I love it. Good luck with your Starfleet!

If you play as a NQFY you have a great chance of being sorted next year. Sign-ups are based on prior playing, so keep that in mind. It is so worth the hustle though!
