Amazing to see people living far away from India, remote places still following culture where they come from. Glad you met friendly people and had a great time.
A very beautiful video about Suriname. Loved watching it from the Netherlands, made me miss home. And I feel so bad about you having to experience the cold shoulder by my fellow countrymen, especially in the temple. It's the ignorance that we have for foreigners in our country is what hurts most.
I see you have been to Guyana as well. What are your thoughts on the similarities and differences between Suriname and Guyana? And how do they compare to other countries that you have seen (or to India itself)?
There is a complete disconnect in the links between India and these countries, yet both countries watch and listen to Hindi movies. There are many Hindu temples, and they follow Hindu worship practices. Suriname speaks a Surnamese version of Hindi. In both countries, people of Indian descent are economically doing very well. However, based on my personal experience, the people of Suriname seem to be more attached to their Indian roots.

Take care of your health and food you are consuming...also take proper rest, that's very important, Singar.
