Around the World - Buenos Aires to Ushuaia | Unfortunate Severe Setback...😞😞😞 | Argentina Ep - 45
After spending a few days in Buenos Aires, I began my journey toward the ultimate destination for bikers: Ushuaia, the 'End of the World.' The distance is over 3,000 km, and the weather was far from favorable-cold and extremely windy.
After about 1,000 km, the landscape changed drastically, becoming more like a cold desert. There were no trees, few towns or cities, and only a handful of settlements along the coast. The vast majority of the land resembled a barren desert. However, the biggest challenge was the wind. Despite numerous warnings from other riders, I underestimated the difficulty. I thought my heavy motorcycle would be unaffected, but I was very wrong. The wind pushed against me, destabilizing the ride and creating intense moments of imbalance, especially when large trucks passed by. I had to grip the handlebars tightly to maintain control. It was truly intimidating.
To make matters worse, my timing coincided with the early days of spring, so temperatures hovered in the 30s and 40s °F. Factoring in the wind chill, it often felt like subzero conditions. Even with multiple layers of clothing, the cold and wind were biting.
Here’s a breakdown of my stops:
Day 1: Azul
Day 2: Río Colorado
Day 3: Puerto Madryn
Day 4: Comodoro Rivadavia
Day 5: Comandante Luis Piedrabuena
On Day 6, I was supposed to reach Río Gallegos, but unfortunately, about 30 km from the city, I had a crash due to severe winds. I hit the guardrails, sustaining injuries, including a dislocated shoulder, while my bike also suffered damage. I ended up in the hospital, and my motorcycle was placed under court control.
It took me a couple of weeks to recover, during which I also had to navigate a bureaucratic process to release my motorcycle from court. Unfortunately, no replacement parts were available for my bike in the area. Thankfully, a mechanic named Mr. Marcelo Vásquez, who I consider my savior, put in a tremendous personal effort to make my bike rideable. This allowed me to continue to Punta Arenas, Chile, the nearest big city, to get proper repairs.
I also managed to visit Ushuaia during this time. Full details will be shared in my next video.

Around the World - Border Crossing to Argentina | El Plata | Buenos Aires | Argentina | Ep - 44
มุมมอง 3821 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
After a wonderful time in Uruguay, I crossed into Argentina by ferry from Colonia. The journey took around two hours. For my motorcycle, I needed to obtain the TIP (Temporary Import Permit) on the Argentina side, but the immigration process was completed on the Uruguay side. Once I arrived in Buenos Aires, I got the motorcycle permit and booked an Airbnb in a nearby city, La Plata, which is the...

After spending a couple of days camping near the Argentina-Uruguay border, I pushed on to cross the border, which was very close to my campsite. Uruguay is a beautiful country, sparsely populated, with stunning rolling hills and a landscape dominated by agriculture, which is the mainstay of its economy. However, the country is quite expensive. I initially planned to camp on the way to Montevide...

After receiving disappointing news from the Bolivian embassy, I decided to go to Argentina, which is close to Asunción. The border crossing was very smooth, and the immigration staff were very friendly. There were no fees for anything. Although the border is less than 1,000 km away, I didn’t want to rush, so I stayed in two cities for one night each. Before reaching the border, I discovered a n...

I rode over 900 kilometers from Paraguay's capital, Asunción, on the Transchaco Highway in three days. The first two days were extremely hot, with temperatures reaching over 105°F. Along the route, there are only a few small towns with limited gas station options. I stayed for two nights along the way, and on the third day, I reached the Bolivian border. However, I was denied entry because they...

Paraguay-a beautiful country with humble, kind people and a history marked by painful memories of war. I was genuinely surprised by this place. It has a small population but impressive infrastructure and a high standard of living. The country is rich in resources, including abundant water and electricity, along with fertile land that supports a strong agricultural economy. The first city I visi...

After a long continuous ride from Belém to Rio, I took a break in Rio and explored the vibrant city, visiting popular tourist spots such as Christ the Redeemer, the cable car, the Olympic Park, and the famous beaches. Afterward, I started riding toward the iconic Iguazu Falls, nearly 1600 km away. Navigating São Paulo’s traffic was challenging, and I covered the distance over three days, stayin...

I rode from Belém to Rio de Janeiro in 5.5 days, traveling along Brazil's eastern coastal roads through nearly all major cities. Brazil’s highways vary in condition-some sections are excellent, while others are in poor shape, with most being two-lane roads. Heavy truck traffic made the ride challenging. The landscape changed dramatically from arid to scenic mountainous areas. Brazil’s agricultu...

After visiting three countries, I returned to Macapá and stayed at a biker club member's house. The next day, I took a cargo boat from Macapá to Belém, which is a 24-hour journey. After reaching Belém, I stayed at Master’s place, who is very popular among Brazilian bikers. He is so nice that he allows bikers to stay at his house. The bond between bikers in Brazil is amazing and special.

From Suriname, I entered Guyana via a ferry crossing from Nickerie to Corriverton, the border town of Guyana. I visited Suriname and was pleasantly surprised by the Hindu temples and culture. Every Hindu household has a designated worship area, and there are many temples/mandirs in every city. People still watch Hindi movies and listen to Hindi songs, though they speak a mixed version of Hindi. The land is very fertile with plenty of water sources. In the Nickerie district, there are vast rice farms, a...

Wowwww it's great going keep rocking dear friend ❤️❤️❤️
Wowwww great moments, Fantastic dear friend ❤
Its so intriguing to watch specially after 6 minutes as the weather amazingly changed the other way around. Seems like you must have enjoyed the joy of weather getting better after hot desert. But sad for what happened at the border.
It was a pleasure to meeting you. Good luck on the rest of your trip and when you return to San Bernardino stop by and visit us again. A hug and blessings my friend
Thank you friend
Great inspiration, how old are you ?
Fantastic nd great to know dear friend ❤❤❤
A very beautiful video about Suriname. Loved watching it from the Netherlands, made me miss home. And I feel so bad about you having to experience the cold shoulder by my fellow countrymen, especially in the temple. It's the ignorance that we have for foreigners in our country is what hurts most.
I saw your motorcycle is registered in Texas. I am from Virginia, originally from Guyana, wished I had found your channel earlier, I could have offered a few suggestions for Guyana, where to get information etc. I rode from USA to Panama and back last year
Question: Were you asked to pay a bond or deposit for the temporary importation permit issued?
Wowwww , Fantastic,take care dear friend ❤️❤️❤️
It's TRUE Guyanese people dont use the road ways to how its supposed to use
You met all nice people along the way that made your journey comfortable. Wise to take good rest in Rio after such a long ride to regain the energy before next ride. Keep on rocking the road
Thank you..
Singar, it's nice, but take proper rest and continue better.
Thanks
Best of luck for your journey.......👍👍... from India 🙏🙏
Thanks
I watched your videos from starting..... you look Indian of South Indian ancestry..... Pls tell us how r in USA What do u do...etc...etc. I appreciate your round the world tour on bike at this age ... respect from India 🙏
This is so great 🎉🎉❤
Did you go to Brazil after Guyana? And did you feel unsafe at any point in any of these countries?
Yes, from Guyana, i return to Suriname, French Guiana then to Brazil (Macapa), from there i took another Cargo boat to Belem. From there I ride all the way to Rio, then Iguazu falls. Now I am in Paraguay. More videos on the way
I see you have been to Guyana as well. What are your thoughts on the similarities and differences between Suriname and Guyana? And how do they compare to other countries that you have seen (or to India itself)?
There is a complete disconnect in the links between India and these countries, yet both countries watch and listen to Hindi movies. There are many Hindu temples, and they follow Hindu worship practices. Suriname speaks a Surnamese version of Hindi. In both countries, people of Indian descent are economically doing very well. However, based on my personal experience, the people of Suriname seem to be more attached to their Indian roots.
14:00 Were the sawmills labeled / did they have the company names outside of them? These may be illegal Chinese sawmills that are operating in the country.
So many of them along the HW from GW to Lindan
13:00 the water is black from the presence of Tannins that leech into the water from the jungle plants. these have natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
Thanks for the details
Solid vlog!! Great to see the different aspects of the country along with the countryside. Indians are mostly in the suburban / rural towns which aren't near to the capital of Georgetown.
Thanks for the response
❤❤
Keep rocking dear friend ❤️🎉🎉

Guyanese don't show eagerness interacting wt mainland indians wen met
They are pretty reserved in general, and there is a language barrier. They speak English with a Caribbean accent. Indians have a different version of English. Hence it can be hard to have fluid communication.
@@MS-tc2fs thanks for the response
that 40% Indians is a big lie
Your statement is 100% false. On wikipedia it states around 40%. Think twice before making statements that are poorly researched and demonstratively false.
Guyana has a diverse population with a mix of ethnic groups, reflecting its rich cultural heritage. As of the most recent estimates, the population is approximately 790,000 people. The major ethnic groups in Guyana include: Indo-Guyanese (40-45%): Descendants of Indian indentured laborers who arrived in the 19th and early 20th centuries. They primarily practice Hinduism and Islam. Afro-Guyanese (30-35%): Descendants of enslaved Africans brought to the country during the transatlantic slave trade. The majority of Afro-Guyanese are Christians, with a significant number belonging to various Protestant denominations. Mixed (20-25%): This group includes individuals of mixed African, Indian, and European descent. Amerindian (approximately 2-3%): Indigenous peoples of Guyana, including various tribes such as the Arawak, Carib, and Warao. Other Ethnic Groups: This category includes small communities of Chinese, Portuguese, and other immigrant groups.
This is the data available from the internet..
