Thanks so much. S Hotel in Montego Bay is a great choice. It shares the same beach as Doctors Cave and you can also walk just outside the hotel and have a local experience as well. Thank you so much for your kind recommendations. Been to Jumby Bay/ beautiful. Rock house does not seem to have a long stretch beach like grace bay. Looking at either Rock house, seven stars or Jamaica resort/ any thoughts?
You are so welcome! Have not stayed at Seven Stars but it looks like a good option on Grace Bay. Would be a better option for great beach access. Even though we were born in Jamaica, we prefer the beaches in Turks and Caicos over Jamaica. If pristine beaches are your main focus, then Turks and Caicos or Anguilla would be great options.

This is a really lovely video. As someone who’s parents were born and raised in Jamaica, I would like to explore part of the island soon.
Blue mountain was a lovely place to visit for me. No drama. I liked Ochi Rios as well. I wanted to see Port Antonio but have heard it is quite expensive and doesn’t seem to have many beaches.
I’d like to know how to get around without getting ripped off as a “tourist”and go to some beaches, that are quiet.
I love Jamaica and want to learn more about my roots.
Is Spanish Town and Clarendon safe places to visit?
I did meet some lovely people when we went to Montego Bay, but also had some unpleasant experiences. I found certain parts to be too full on. So probably won’t be going back this time.
Any tips for solo travelers?
I’d like to go on some tours how do I find who is trustworthy any recommendations?

Thanks so much. Portland has hotels to fit every budget. There are some decent beaches there as well - Frenchman's Cove, San San Beach, Boston Beach and Winnifred Beach. We do not know many things to do in Clarendon as we have not explored it much. We would advise you to be extremely careful in Spanish Town and we avoid visiting there.
We do not have a recommendation for a tour guide. For solo travelers, we would advise to carefully check the reviews of some of the trip advisor tours or guides - also ensure that a family / friend not with you and also the hotel you are staying know that you will be taking that tour guide and your intended destination. Another option is to book shared tours directly through a hotel - it may cost you a little extra but they will ensure you are with a safe person or tour company.

When is a good month to visit Jamaica to eat lobster, fresh mangoes and other exotic fruits? Your video with mango trees, where was that? I checked Golden eye resort too but not sure of the beach conditions . Do you still recommend S hotel for Jamaica? Will contact the travel agent once we have decided whether to visit T&C or Jamaica. Is there a favorite resort that you would say must stay in Jamaica? Thank you.
May to July for Mangoes. Fruits are generally available year round with most in summer months. I think late summer to end of the year is better for lobster. You will probably get imported lobster year round. Hotel in Jamaica we would select is dependent on the vibes... S Hotel is on a great beach. Its a relaxed hotel but not super luxurious. S Hotel would NOT be my choice to celebrate a special occasion but would be adequate for a short visit for a relaxed beach vibe. Some of the better choices for hotels that we would prefer do not have a great beach (Geejam, Trident, Golden Eye, Round Hill Hotel) etc. Trident and Geejam are approx. 3 hours from Montego Bay airport so not easy to get there. Golden Eye is a very good choice with a good (not spectacular) beach and approx. 2 hours from Montego Bay airport. Generally we have not visited or researched many all inclusive hotels recently, so I would not be able to tell you the best one but they are generally not very luxurious.
How do I book a personal drive ochi to Kingston for a couple hours show me around Kingston
Two options could include : 1. Go to the island car rentals (largest car rental company in Jamaica) and select car and DRIVER .
They are a reputable company www.islandcarrentals.com/ 2. Go to TripAdvisor and select a car / driver after carefully reading the reviews. Select someone that has been on TripAdvisor multiple years with tons of positive reviews and also recent reviews.

Is really a hard choice from rock house in T& C, Zemi house in Anguilla, kempton seafire & etc. My husband and I are looking for a beautiful beach, good food and service. Jamaica will always have my heart because it has the best fruits, food & kind folks. We have stayed at Jamaica Inn, Hyatt zilara( when it was Ritz Carlton). Any other resorts in Jamaica with a beautiful beach that you would recommend which is not on Dr Caves beach?
