I was happy when I got you for my secret pride project, cause i really wanted to do something big for you sdjskdhj i wanted to edit many things but at the i decided to do a book edit, i needed to make something special for you cause you my fav beech ever, and i also know you love sapphics a much as i do, SO HOPE YOU LIKET IT BB!
For those who didn't read the book, Carmilla and Laura have a dynamic of hate and lust, Carmilla was usually fast becoming friends with the girls she was supposed to murder, and she was used to it, but Laura was different. She fell in love with Laura, and in the end could not kill her. (pain) Carmilla never spoke of “killing” Laura, but rather turning her, so that she may also be a vampire and live with Carmilla forever. Carmilla knows that Laura could never truly love her for what she is, so she wanted her to understand, and be the same as her. But at the end, Carmilla, in trying to save Laura, she sacrificed herself. (the death trope...byeee)

Oh my goodness! Carmilla is one of my favourite books, yet I don’t feel it’s ever had a good adaptation that’s faithful to the source material - until now!! This is so visually stunning. The clip choices, the voiceovers, the colouring, the aesthetics, the essence of the novella in every scene, I cannot say how truly beautiful this edit is. This is literally art. #blessed
