100% paying for the fireworks and castle light show next time we go! Last year we queued for 3 hours to get a spot at the front and people were literally trying to push our kids out the way to get over the barrier at the front when the show began. Felt very uncomfortable and the only part of the holiday I didn’t enjoy. Couldn’t watch the fireworks without being pushed in the back so next time we will pay the 19 euros each. This will allow the little ones to hopefully see better and also allow us more time in the park before going to the waiting area. Thanks for the video
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 There were also a couple of people climbing over the fence into the flower beds section at the front. Luckily a cast member noticed and removed them from that area asap. If you don’t mind standing farther back that’s fine but as soon as people put their kids on their shoulders you might not get a good view if you are a shorter person or right behind them. Worth paying the 19 per person for one night of the trip I think.
@@chrisbarkerguitar No bloody way. People these days have no sense boundaries. I did remember when I was teen I went uphill on the side Adventureland for a better view
Thank you for your frankness! This option feels so exploitative on top of the already high ticket prices and it's nice to see a Disney vlogger approach it with some skepticism as well.
Last year I had an infinity pass and I did take advantage of viewing spots. I would not pay for parade viewing but for fireworks, heck yeah. I love that close viewing that I can't get unless I want to stand on main street for hours. I also am short and get blocked by children on shoulders
i would never pay 19€ for stars on parade if i still had to be there half an hour earlier and end up in the second row, in my honest opinion. i‘ve always waited for the parade 20 min max and i‘ve never had a bad view/spot, i recommend finding a spot near the end of the parade, it‘s surprisingly calmer there.
I was there in March with my daughter and she was always way too tired for the fireworks and electric sky parade, but luckily we had a lakeview room with a balcony in Newport Bay so we could see the electric sky parade from the balcony 😍
Thank you for this!! I'm a Disneyland (California) Magic Key Holder (aka: annual pass) and have also been to Disney World 5 times. Last year I went to Disneyland Paris for the first time and watched the drone show as well as fireworks from Main Street in front of Gibson Girl's Ice Cream. I saw everything clearly and it was amazing. I can see spending a little to get up close if you've always wanted to do that, and it's a nice treat. But, I think the scale of things gets lost if you're too close. That being said- It looks like the crowd leaves in a more orderly fashion in the reserved area, and that was something that made me nervous where I was. The crowd was not controlled the way it is the the US. But, it all worked out in the end.
I could consider paying for the fireworks show but not the daytime parades. This way I could eat and have a rest at the hotel or do rides in the evening and know I would have a nice spot. Regarding Disney dreams. Really loved that show. Glad I got to see it!
We did the Fireworks show end of March when they just started this. It’s expensive, but it was nice to have a great spot with my 3year old. Still, very busy in the reserved space. Would be better with less people
With all the extra's and stuff that you can or have to pay you can start wondering if you need to pay the entrance fee. It's slowly going back to the time where you had to pay for every ride seperately
I think maybe with small children, cause you can’t wait an hour with small children. But I also wouldn’t pay 20€ per person for that, especially, cause you are not in front of the castle AND when I pay so much, I want the characters interact especially more with me 😅 For the night show it seems more interesting and worth it … still really expensive…
I’ve experienced trips with and without PhotoPass, every time I don’t buyI it I regreat it so much. Buy it before yor stay so is a little bit cheaper. The whole family or party can use it if they have the card they give you. You have all the ride and characters photos, so make te most out of it (go to the Training Center, etc).
I think if you have young children, this is definitely worth it. Getting to parades and fireworks 2 hours before to secure a spot just isn't feasible and even when you do, people still end up pushing kids out the way. I had to turn into a mummy dragon when some adults tried to push my 7yo and another little girl out of the way during the fireworks.

for the fireworks, we always came quite early to get what i consider a good spot. If I can skip that by paying 19 euros, I would definitely consider it.
I don’t know if I can justify the cost. As a family of 5 we’ll have to pay almost €100. They’ve restricted the access for disabled families also. We found last year that only one of us could accompany my son in disabled which made things difficult if he needed additional support. They’ve made this about more money without considering families, which is disappointing.
