    Fact check- Partners are not equity holders at BCG unlike McKinsey. Consultants becomes equity holder at BCG only after they reach MDP (managing director and partner designation)

    Great video. Just one small clarification - At BCG, the Partner is not an Equity partner. The MDP is an Equity partner at BCG which comes 2-3 years after you make Partner.

    BCG salaries from PL level is 50:50 . As u said 60 lakhs its 30 lakhs fixed rest is all based on Performace at Individual BU and the Firm where std payrate is 50% which comes to 45 lakhs . Then Comes Principals and Directors they also have similar structure 80 lakhs 40 lpa fixed and 50% assured bonus in case u perforrm average .

      Cause internship stipends are not included in taxable income but when you join with a full time offer as a senior associate you will have to pay your taxes.. this is the same for every industry..

      It would be highly unusual for a senior associate to earn less than an intern at any reputable consulting firm. The Intern salary mentioned in the video is for the period of 2-3 months.

    Mostly Making rich people more richer is what consultants do(eg: finance consulting). If you want to seriously make a difference in the world then make poor people rich. Because rich people already have a lot of options to get more richer. Technical consulting is where the lack of manpower and skilled workforce is filled with external consultants. So that point i agree.

      @@InsideIIMKonversations Then why dont indians work for indian companies instead of working for JP Morgan, UBS, and american imperialist companies who only outsource there work to india and asia because they can hire for cheap. The salary of a consultant working from india and that of working from New York or Singapore there is a huge difference. Also Indians have inferiority complex as mentioned by famous writer Rajeev Malhotra in his Jaipur Dialogues and other talk shows. You love to work for western companies but frown when trying to open a startup or business with your own brothers and sisters in india. You cannot deny the fact that indians glorify working for western companies as if they are still living under the British Raj. There is a problem there which is ignored by the masses. Would love to see Rajiv Malhotra in one your videos someday.

      Then they need to make report on firing employees in the name is inflation, even if they have lot of money.
