This is a great test. I’m repairing one of these right now. Getting the 7 speed DSG out is very difficult. I hope I can get it back in without removing the subframe.
@Simple_Classic_Cars I checked and could not find any opening on the transmission housing. I have a mk6 jetta gli with the 6 speed 02Q manual transmission. :(

So the engine is sucking the brake cleaner through the rear main seal and recirculating it into the intake?
Exactly! My seal completely separated from the metal housing.
How do i test on a manual transmission jetta with 2.0 tsi?
Similar fashion, just find some opening in bellhouse flywheel shielding and spray in there.
