Thank you. I was doing the morning sadhana for a few weeks. My back on the right side was hurting quite a bit and so I stopped it to give it a rest. Its been a week or so. I need to start again. I am cautious not to over do it. Like you said to 'improve' not prove.
I suffer with moderate depression and anxiety so I went to a kundalini yoga class. After it i felt confused and had a negative emotional release that nearly made me collapse. I've been scared to go back
Lee, if you are dealing with Depression, Anxiety, or PTSD, you may want to look for support for all the different levels, emotionally, physically & spiritually. Look for a Kundalini Instructor who has special training in working with challenging emotions, or find a therapist who integrates Yoga as part of their practice. Hi.. I'm reading this now.. I would share my experience to provide maybe a hint. I started to listen to myself deeply. I know it sounds cliché but there is not psychologist or guru that can 100 per cent know what you go through. Your experience of the external world is related to something deep within.. But not in a wrong way. Me for instance I have been surrounded by narcissistic parents who have abused me in many ways. I was not allowed even to exist without feeling shame and wanting to die. No love.. Just taking and taking... I started meditating many years ago but I would stop every now and then... Feeling annoying presences and car accidents.. All problems coming up. Now I'm ready (ego) because I faced my fears to a deeper level. I know that this presences have lived with me for all my life sucking my energy because I allowed them to. I have never felt safe in my body and not even worthy of having one. I would feel guilt and pity for the abusers... Never to step up for me...and this is what's happening spiritually also. I am now claiming my power back. It took time. I had to see that I was not the problem of others and my parents that keep telling me horrible things and ignoring me for being happy. ... However is.. you'll probably have to deal with it in your own way and my words, and many techniques can only give you suggestions.. But the path is yours. I will not lie like so many people... You can count on us.. I've seen the illusion of people's ego, our ego. There is what there is outside. You are beautifully alone. And full and not alone at the same time. You are more. Depression is an expression of living below your power ♥️♥️ good luck!💚
It's a technique which clears blocks and opens doorways within, and that's when healing happens. But I echo what the other person said, a out finding a Kundalini instructor who is very experienced in working with depression, etc.
I love this practice sooo much!! 3 exercises only, yet the impact is incredible!!! 🎉🎉🎉 would you have something like this for the bed time?? Thank you!
I've been listening and learning from Guru Singh in the last 16 years. please try listening some his lectures. they are incredible and most of your questions you might have is definitely will be answered in just listening few of his lectures. Sat Nam
Bless you and thank you. a wee observation why is it not 3 x 3 mins to the number 9. this is the triangle base of the body. 11 is for higher 6 chakra up. as we are working with the physical it encompasses the 1- 10? In my heart and when I do this it feel unbalanced to do one exercise for longer.
