You could just FEEL Damien's songs.. The hurt, the hope, the melancholy..
I'm Polish, so I shouldn't probably praise the movie. But this is one of the best movies, because it was not pushy. Look: the director could show how they torture Wiktor, instead he showed his broken fingers. There is no cheap tricks to play on your emotions. Instead you have cold winter, broken bones covered with smile, and going to the other side as a metaphor of death. I love that movie.

Fucking hell, you almost want to give up on hope, but what you need to do is just give up on that person. Don't ever give up on the overall picture, but it's okay to give up/let go of people and things. You want to hang on and you're hurting so much because you can't find the power to let go. You're attached to that person and that isn't love. Just let the fuck go, you'll be fine, you really will be. You tell yourself you want to let go but you can't because deep down you don't want to. You have to truly want to let go. Don't let that person's beauty deceive you. If you fucking loved yourself you'd let go. Instead you're seeking that love outside of you when all along you had that love within you. No one gives you love. All they do is help you realize that love inside you. Why can't you help yourself realize that love inside you? Let go of that attachment. You're not going to die. It's going to hurt at first because you've attached yourself to that person and to let go of that person is like losing a part of you. It doesn't matter if that part of you is good or bad it all still hurts. Don't attach yourself to someone. Love is not attachment, it's one of the biggest misconceptions. If you truly loved yourself you wouldn't attach yourself to someone. You want to share that love that you have within yourselves with each other. Not relying on that person's love because you already have all the love you need within you.
