Hey Shawn, thanks for sharing insights on this week's lesson. I want to tell you that I live about 5 miles from North Greenville University (NGU as we call it). All 3 of my kids graduated from there, so I thought it was neat to hear your son Michael went there. I am currently helping with our college ministry at church, where we enjoy about 30 ngu students. I love them!
Thank you Pastor Thomas. I believe this has been one of my favorite commentaries. My husband has 40 years in the ministry (38 as a senior pastor and 2 as a youth pastor). All of it has been bi-vocational as well as with my full-time university/college full-time work. We didn't always understand why God gave us this type of ministry but soon realized it was our ministry. We both have experienced God's work in our "secular ministry" as much as in sheperding our congregations. I enjoyed hearing how we can not only bloom where we are planted, but should do so in spite of our fears/expectations. We are praying for Mrs. Cheryl as she continues to heal. God bless you! "To whom much is given much will be required!" I know you both do this well. BTW, We live close to North Greenville Univ. My daughter's friends from her local Christian school graudated from there, great college!
Thanks for your insightful principles from each of the teaching sessions. I am a Bi-Vocational Pastor in Nashville who teaches a 7:30 Bible Class on Sunday morning in my home church before driving an hour to a church I serve as transitional pastor to teach again before preaching in the worship service. I thank God for coming across your channel. It is of great value to me. Blessings dear brother in Christ and may God continue to restore your bride to her full health!
Thank you for your thoughtful and enlightening lessons. I always learn more about how to share the WORD in class discussions from your teaching. Praying to pray for your wife's full recovery.
