Yet I like Williamson's work and seeing Paul Wesley from Fallen and Smallville made me really happy. So it was with great hope that I started this series. Unfortunately, it is very quickly disillusioned, because Julie Plec has very badly managed the plots and the relationships between the characters, especially that of Stefan and Elena, and then there is a huge scriptwriting inconsistency. At the beginning, the series started well, during the two three seasons, but then, that was spoiled. Some elements of the story are not very believable and it goes a little all over the place. The series drags on and ended up on anything.
