Making a Leyton video inspired me to rewatch and rewatch inspired me to do a Breyton video, so here we are. I'm not planning on doing more, but I'm on season 2, so no promises ;p.
This is my favorite female friendship of all time. I keep watching new shows and I keep looking for great female friendships (because there are simply not enough of them!), but I'm pretty confident that nothing will ever replace Breyton for me. They were just something special and I don't think I'm able to love someone else's friendship the way I love theirs. They are two of my favorite characters of all time and their friendship is simply one of the most beautiful things I've seen.
As I said when I posted my previous video - they are one of the main reasons I've never watched s7-9 even tho I love OTH with all my heart. I just simply cannot accept world where Brooke's getting married or having children without P. Sawyer by her side. In my world OTH ended after season 6, Peyton was Brooke's maid of honor and right now they are raising their kids together, amen.

Some people say that they prefer Haley and Brooke friendship and i don't understang how, i mean i like them as friends but they never have the conection and the deep bond that Peyton and Brooke share. Also i have heard people say that this is a 'toxic friendship' and i was like WHAT THE HELL? THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY GO THROUGH ALL THAT SHIT AND THEY WERE STILL INCONDICIONAL TO EACH OTHER AND A SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER. They have been mean to each other, yes. They have been mad to each other? Hell yes. But they could talk, and get out all that shit and work their problems and still be there for each other no matter what. They love each other more that anything. They are sisters and you can't tell me wrong. If you call toxic a friendship because they go into really big and serious fights and because of that say mean things to each other then you have never been in real life. The magic of Brooke and Peyton's friendship is that when something serious happen they were always there to save each other, and they could work things out even when they were terribly ugly
Dreamer Lu completely agree!! Also if you watch the show Brooke makes it very clear multiple times that Peyton is her “best “friend”. She loved her the most even when it hurt her. Hilarie and Sophia had this amazing chemistry. That I just didn’t feel with the other girls...

@@reinemfz2961 but people only ever put the blame for that on peyton. they never had sex whilst he was with brooke - peyton made it clear she didn't want to hurt her, and yet lucas was kind of leading them both on and didn't give peyton time to work out what she wanted, before he swiftly moved on to brooke. the second time she kissed him she literally thought she was going to die, and then kept her feelings in because she didn't want to hurt brooke or ruin their relationship. also i LOVE brooke, but she wasn't a perfect friend either...she literally made fun of peyton's moms being dead. they both were shitty to each other at times (as a lot of teenagers are...), but imo they grew up a lot and their adult friendship especially was great.

If you have watched OTH I mean really watched it you know Peyton and Brooke are like the guts of the show. Hailey's character is great as these three are all crucial to the show but the first few episodes set the tone for the whole show and their friendship is so great to watch as their chemistry is off the charts. No wonder they are great friends still today. Watching tv shows today with all the boring Greys Anatomy types make me miss these two even more!
Of course, their still great friends until this day because they were just acting as their character and it wasn't like the Actresses aren't like that in real life because I've seen behind-the-scenes videos when they were just being themselves and goofy off and the Creator of the show would get upset because they would have to act or be serious for a scene and he would have to yell at them to get it together.
I prefer their friendship over Brooke and Haley's, because despite EVERYTHING that has happened between them, they STILL had one of the strongest friendship in the show !!! .

I have been playing this video on a loop for the last 24 hours. It is so beyond perfect. I can't sum it up in words. I completely agree with you about this friendship and the later seasons of the show. I watched *most* of season 7-9, and I enjoyed the Clay/Quinn storyline as well as the Dan redemption arc (which started in season 5 and 6 really), but I found the series to be lacking the heart it once had. I missed Leyton as a ship and as characters, and I particularly missed Lucas/Nathan and of course Peyton/Brooke. I feel like those two relationships were the pulse of the show. You are spot on about the struggle to find a friendship as wonderful as this one. The 4 ladies on Sex and the City come close, largely because that show is so defined by their dynamic. But outside of that, most fall short to Breyton. Some argue that the Lucas conflict somehow weakens their bond, but I disagree. The fact that these two could go through such turmoil and heartache in their relationship and come out of it even stronger than they were before says so much about how resilient and fortified their attachment to one another is. The sheer magnitude of their devotion through every struggle, even when they aren't in the best place, is proof positive that no matter what, when Peyton needs Brooke or when Brooke needs Peyton, they are there.
I really loved the way you showcased that very thing in your video. All the parallels moved me. I especially loved the connection between Peyton saying "I'm here for you forever" with Brooke's "You have me no matter what.". And all the times they cradle each other or rest their heads on each others shoulders...there is just so much solace in those moments! You also connected the ways in which they would aid and rescue: Brooke fighting off the attempted date rapist and the stalker...Peyton defending Brooke by getting in the faces of the cheerleader and Brooke's mother...just so amazing. I could seriously go on and on, but I'll give it a rest for now. Thank you for making this. It really had an impact on me! Brilliant work!

With their friendship. I have been recently been wondering what it would be like if Peyton actually died from having the baby. Like how badly and heartbreaking Brooke’s reaction would be. And when Peyton was in the hospital and when Peyton told Brooke about it’s possible Peyton would die if she had the baby. You could just see how worried Brooke was for Peyton. And that’s rly saying something. Even after all their ups and downs and things they have said to each other. They would always still mean everything to one another. They were best friends forever. To have a friendship that long would be a dream come true. They are the ultimate best friends in this show. People don’t have to agree with me but that’s just my opinion 😊
Oh and now I have more to add that I forgot. But like also, I just know deep down in my heart that Brooke rly was so scared to lose Peyton bc they were actually best friends for along time as when Peyton’s mom died which they were 10 so yk. And Brooke js couldn’t imagine a life with Peyton’s as they have been in each others lives for most of their lives. And as u can see from this edit and js scenes of them together they had unbreakable bond no matter what

The song was amAzing for this video. First of all, they were two amazing actresses because we felt their pain with every tragedy and through every adversity. I was so happy when they matured enough to be able to communicate better and just love each other. Brooke still dealt with the big things by internalizing, but their bond was unbreakable. Women disagree and most times, instead of working through it, they become bitter enemies. This was an amazing journey for these two and the producers suck for not having Peyton there for either of Brooke's major moments, especially her wedding. But I am happy for the moments we did share with them and their growth. "They were each other's FLASHLIGHT!"

I always preferred the Brooke/Haley friendship and I believe they rightfully ended up the show as best friends but Breyton was good (despite the ups and downs -- I always thought Peyton wasn't really fair or caring to Brooke sometimes). This video is beautiful. I enjoyed it.
