Who it's for: Beginners - experienced, everyday users looking to sharpen their skills and increase efficiency in Microsoft Excel.
What it is: Microsoft’s spreadsheet application used to clean and organize data.
What you'll learn: We start with the basics, showing you the user interface and quick ways to navigate. Once you’re comfortable with the software’s layout, we quickly move on to calculating data with basic formulas and functions. In the Advanced section, we show you the various tools and ways to sort and filter data in a timely manner. Then, we dive into one of Excel’s most popular features; the Pivot Table. Our Expert training starts with basic functions like the IF function. Thank you SO much for this excellent tutorial. I'm not exactly a numbers person so this vid really helped me understand a spreadsheet I've been having trouble with. Your teaching method is very clear, and easy to learn from. Your voice is pleasing to listen to, with no distracting hesitations, pauses or mannerisms. Better than other tutorials I've tried. Just keep in mind at approximately 1:16:00 when you are describing the find and replace for blank cells, if you replace blanks with zeros that will impact your cells with descriptive stats formulas (average, min, max, count, etc.). If you replace blanks with a dash or "blank" those cells will not be impacted.

This tutorial is for beginners. However, when I went through it I learned some wonderful tricks and tips which are very useful in our routine life. Definitely, its value addition in our knowledge. Hi Faz, Just a querie regarding the section "Simple Functions (Part 2)". When you were adding the totals for "Server 1" and "Server 3" (=$1500), you also added the "Auto Total" to the sum thus doubling the total to $3000.
The same with "Average" which possibly should be $1500/10 entries (=$150) as opposed to $3000/15 entries (=$200). Also, would "Count" be 10 as opposed to 15, as the "Auto Total" should not be included in the count, also? "Min" and "Max" could go either way I suppose. Could be me, but just say'n. Thanks Jon.
