- The Sumatran tiger is a population of Panthera tigris sondaica in the Indonesian island of Sumatra. This population was listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List in 2008, as it was estimated at 441 to 679 individuals, with no sub-population larger than 50 individuals and a declining trend.
The Sumatran tiger is the only surviving tiger population in the Sunda Islands, where the Bali and Javan tigers are extinct. Sequences from complete mitochondrial genes of 34 tigers support the hypothesis that Sumatran tigers are diagnostically distinct from mainland subspecies.

sumatran are smaller but more robust/muscular built because they spend time in the dens rainforest mountains where they must claimb and jump alot.
while bengal tiger are mostly living in a plain forest where they just casually walking

small Tigers is more safe than the bigger Tigers, because if they attack you, there's a small chance that you survive from the attack of the small Tigers,..,
They might be the smallest species of Tiger, but even so we would still make sure to be extra safe around any predator. Look at those teeth!
As with most ambush predators the main thing is to spot them first and stare them down. Back away only slowly, being loud, possibly waving a large stick, and do not turn your back. Same thing for cougars, if they stick around to pester you after they're spotted, then you're probably near her cubs and need to leave the area as stated. Slowly, backwards, and change direction if that agitates her but do not look away.
Wasn't there an even smaller tiger in the 3 extinct breeds? And how did I get from the australean marsupial tiger-wolves to here?
but they still stronger than 8 adult human. fully grown tiger is 70% muscle mass they have lethal weapon and know where to attack you critically
