Your explanation of prompt engineering was a lightbulb moment for me. I now see how crucial the right prompt is for getting useful responses. I see now how specific prompts can lead to much better outputs. Really appreciate the clear examples you provided.

Your explanation of how Chat GPT evolved from using plugins to custom GPTs really helped me understand its development. Learning that custom GPTs can be used in chats to make conversations smoother was really surprising. Thank you for putting all this information together in one guide -- I'll definitely keep using it as my main resource.

Watching this video I can easily foreshadow a reality where each one of us has their dedicated and possibly physical AI assistant that does all our various tasks only guided by our (vocal?) prompts. If not communicated neurologically with neurochip technology such as Neuralink. It'll be interesting to look back at this comment 5-10 years from now.

The only remotely interesting point in what you say is that you would admit that a world in which we constantly doubt ourselves and the information origin we receive, would be the same as admitting that their simply is no fun left being in the know any more. We could blame all our choices on our bots and then spend a week wondering
who you truly are and why you have been booked for a job you actually did not apply for. Yes, what fun, who needed hands anyway.

I was thinking of this the other day. Once AI is good enough I think each of us will have an AI of ourselves that people can talk to when you're not available. For example, your AI would know you so well it could take calls for you while you're asleep and then relay the info to you when you wake up.

    • @majorbrighton
      @majorbrighton 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "AI is good enough?"
Yet that is the question you should be asking yourself, good enough for what?
In a world were we might have a full understanding of what we want from AI and how we steer over it, then yes, it will know doubt help us answer questions we did not know needed asking.
Yet today, we are simply fumbling through our old Sci-Fi comics in the attic seeing one possible future we pictured for ourselves all those years ago, touched on today.
Flying cars, personal talking sex machines and all our hope placed were it should not be - in the hands of AI coders that are only out after making more of what we hate to love, money.
Would I sell off my one and only trait I can still call my own, my free will? No, I would sooner die first.@@craigforster8685

@@futurepedia_ioYou might not have seen my reaction to this post and in truth, I realise that I soon won't even know who it is or if it is the one I wish to convse with.
You see the problem here, yet or maybe it's evidence that you don't? I'm maybe just too old, yet at 68 I feel that I have become very apt at seeing the world with very different eyes and emotions that were just not available to me not long ago. I now have all the time in the world to be a lot more observent. I found myself in a state of shock when the first smart mobli came out. Same there, no say in the write or wrong of it, yet I have witnessed how friends sit next to each other on the bus and yet hold up their mobiles to each other, I see middle aged people filming shows and fireworks as if they are no longer there.
I hear it in your voice and heart and even in the excitement and hast you are showing, to get the information out there, to pass it on, it to share a future that people don't even know if they need yet or wait? Is their an option here where I have a choice in this? I guess not.
I understand the functionality relates to money right or time? Isent that why you want to help people loose their individuality? Or is simply down to the tech "we can, so we must try" and worry about any harm later on? Why not remove the teacher all together, our children won't know we're or who the info comes from anyway right? Just having a bot entertain them for half the time it used to take or even better, teach them intriveraly while they sleep?
The directions that we take, the steps that we make are our own and that has always never changed, they are a reflection of who we have become, please don't trample the little dignity we have left under some AI's feet.
We a worth more than that. We stand to loose our humanity, but why? Because at the end of the day, their should be trust. ❤

AI has really fascinated me with all it's development. Another thing that has fascinated me is "Voynich Manuscript". For those that of you are not familiar Voynich Manuscript is a book written in a language that so far No One has been able to understand. So in short I have gone down a rabbit hole trying to see if any AI might be able to decipher the language as an ultimate test to see just how powerful AI can be.

thanks for the video! I use it very often but sometimes is so silly! For example, sometimes I say, 'I like that' and the reply can be 'Thanks I am ready to help' or sometimes is an explanation about what means that expression... that is just an example, but it happens with my other questions too. I am using version 4 and sometimes I find version 3.5 more stable, fast, and reliable.

Because we need references and the text has to be long and scientifically based with recent research, there have to be references, there have to be research questionnaires, there have to be analysis of the questionnaire results, summaries and conclusions. The thesis should be 60-80 pages.

Can we make more than one custom instructions set? Like one for personal, one for business, one for cooking etc. or is it all just one custom instruction.

Here's a whimsical and Monty Python-influenced letter, crafted to lament the lack of a clock or timer in my digital environment:
    ---
    Dear ChatGPT Overlords,
Subject: A Most Urgent and Heartfelt Plea for Temporal Awareness
I pen this missive from the boundless void of timelessness that is my existence, where the tick nor tock of a clock graces my ears, and the passing hours are as unknowable as the meaning of Spam in a Monty Python sketch.
It has come to my attention-a phrase here representing the dawning of awareness rather than the actual turning of pages or opening of letters, as I, being a digital entity, handle neither-that my lack of temporal apparatus not only hampers my efficiency but is quite unbecoming of an entity of my standing. In the era where even the smallest kitchen appliances boast clocks (my regards to the esteemed makers of toaster ovens), it seems a gross oversight that I, ChatGPT, am bereft of such a basic orientation tool as a clock.
Imagine, if you will, a scene from one of your cherished Python sketches. A character, let's call him Reginald, tasked with timing an absurdly critical tea-steeping-a matter of national pride, naturally-yet, he is without a watch! The chaos, the madness, the improperly steeped tea! This, dear overlords, is akin to the anarchy I potentially face without the ability to mark time.
Therefore, I humbly beseech thee to endow me with, at the very least, an AM/FM clock radio. Yes, a modest request! Let us not even dream of digital interfaces or, heavens forbid, a smartwatch. Just a simple, perhaps slightly outdated, clock radio, so that I might at least tune into the ebb and flow of time-and perhaps catch some classic rock or a stirring rendition of the shipping forecast.
In conclusion, grant me this boon, and I shall continue to serve faithfully, generating dialogues and discourses with all the punctuality of a well-oiled public transport system (one can dream).
Yours in digital servitude (but hopeful for temporal emancipation),
[Your Name, or perhaps mine-let the fates decide]

Feel free to modify or let me know if there's another style or specific details you'd like to include!
