    Beautiful. I love how you show your palette on screen and how you mix your colors. Very helpful and others don't think to do that. I have that brush so now I feel confident I can try it now. Thank you.

    I have been watching a lot of your videos while I recuperate from carpal tunnel surgery. I can finally hold a brush so I better get to it. I'm crazy for this piece of art. I will use yours as inspiration.

    Ceecee, your English is better than many anglos I know. I don't think there is anything wrong with using the term cream instead of lotion. I am very impressed and engaged with your art. I don't really "get" doodling, but i truly appreciate what you do with it...it helps me get out of my head, I think. I love your work, your attitude, your sharing, and your fun laugh.

    Your colour choices are always so fabulous, the pop of red and gold really make the painting come to life. Thanx for the demo of the brush. Tfs xo

    I'm definitely going to look for a striper brush. Lovely painting that almost seemed to paint itself. Love it, so cool. Thanks again!

    I love your doodling outside of the norm! It makes the art just pop... I have added it to some of my work and what a difference. Some I just leave the original as is. Your creativity is amazing and the music is so relaxing😑💖

    Well, yet another item I have but haven't used! I have the Princeton version. Will go give it a try today and see if I can make those lovely leaves with it. I would also like to know where you got that brush rest. How nice that your brushes are not rolling away. LOL Have a wonderful day.

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      fran, i tried the princeton neptune dagger brush and it's really not the same. i have to figure this one out. i couldn't get a fine line with it as i got with the silver black velvet. the brush rest i have is simply a little wooden gadget i got at a local fine arts store.

      I have both the 1/4 and 3/8 in the Neptune series. The 3/8 gave me a very fine line.

    So I always love the addition of your gold!! As usual you have inspired me to work more as much as I can on my watercoloring. Do you have the Dr Ph martins inks or hydrus, (or comparable)? I would love to see a video of you using them if you do have them.

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Cee Cee, If you didn't doodle would you have left the painting as is or what else would you have done? I love your work and really enjoy watching you. Cheers!

    I Absolutely Love this video ❤️❤️❤️ I must have that size brush , I recently purchased a Princeton Neptune Stryper brush size 1/4 of course I haven’t used it yet 😂but I really Love the one you used ❤️❤️ Thanks for sharing 💜💜

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      oh, so princeton neptune also makes striper brushes?! so that means that the striper and dagger are not the same. i have tried the dagger from princeton this morning and i've problems getting that fine line i got with the other one. thank you for that info!

    Beautiful, as always! Are those Cotman paints? I have not wanted them except for the box size. If they are that nice, I will have to grab one, eventually ;-) Thanks for the video, CeeCee I have a 3/8 Simply Simmons striper. I love dagger/stripers for cutting into small places, and I need to get back to my stroke practices! I have been art journaling. Tearing up and gluing papers. Not very artistic, rather therapeutic, haha!

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thank you, Terrie. the Cotman set is a good started set i find but if you've already invested in good artist grade quality paints, i don't see a need for them unless you do a lot of plein-air/traveling.

    hey cool, I have been eyeing those black velvets! I just assumed a "stripper" brush was for.... stripping! You know, lifting. But maybe it means... making stripes? Whatever, you make everything look easy and beautiful CC!! 💚💜💚💜
    You don't appear to have one of those "affiliate" pages at Amazon? How about putting up an amazon page of your favorites and sticking those black velvets on it? I was already interested in the cat's tongue but would have totally passed right by the stripper brush if you hadn't done a painting with it, but now I totally want that more than the cat's tongue. So it's only fair you get a commission whenever I get another amazon order together.
    Also, another suggestion if you are so inclined... Put several options for paper on your amazon favorites page, including journals. People are always needing paper and that's more money for you. So they go to your favorites page and end up buying several things instead of just one.

    • @creationsceecee
      @creationsceecee  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you, Jasper. i once looked into the affiliate program and i'm not sure why i didn't go through with it. i will keep this idea on my "to be investigated" list. thank you for reminding me and have a wonderful week!
