- This is our opinion on the Bushwakka Adventure Gear Extreme Darkness 270 Awning, we were not sponsored or did not receive this product for free, after all of the research we did this is the awning we decided on.

This is one we keep coming back to for our LC200. Thanks for the review
The mounting points did it for us with this one you need at least 1300mm to mount but for another brand you need 1500mm apart to mount as a minimum hope this helps and also we have been using it for about 4 months and love it
Awesome stuff! 🤙🏽
Lots of research went in to finding the right awning
@@gettinglostdownunder yeah we’re leaning towards this one but it all depends on weights with towing our van as we head off soon on our Lap!🤙🏽
Hey mate looks great. What reinforcement have you got inside the canopy to take the weight. Cheers
Hi Mate
I have the standard ARB reinforcement bars. The awning needs to be 1300mm apart.
Thanks for the review mate. All reviews tend to miss load ratings of the Fibreglass canopy, rack and weights of rack and awning. How the rack is attached to canopy or roof. There needs to be more information about safety regarding load ratings type of fixtures etc.
Hi Mate, there sure does need to be more info on load ratings and safety on carrying loads on the racks, I did a lot of research on what needed to be done to have it safely attached.
Hello do you need to seasoned the awning before first use? Thank you sir.
@@wongneverwrong no you don’t need to. It is the best addition we have made
@@gettinglostdownunder thank you you are legend
what size is your Rhino rack please? any issuse with the large overhang and the front
Hey, sorry for the late reply,
We have the 1630mm x 1500mm in length I think.
We went with the bushwakka awning because you need 1300mm minimum to mount this awning which you have with this length. No issues with the overhang and we use this awning on a weekly basis.
@@gettinglostdownunder Cheers for the info, much appreciated
Looks great. Do you still like it? Also, can you just keep those tie down ropes / ratchets attached as you pack up? Makes it even easier I reckon.
Hey, Yes we still love it, we use it a lot more now because it is easy to use, You could leave the ropes on it but they are super easy to hook on and off.
@@gettinglostdownunder awesome thanks. I’m getting the same 270 soon! Can’t wait
If i wish to buy extra leg? How many do i need to order for full wall? Thank you.
I haven’t used an extra led at all in 12 months. These awnings are amazing.
I just got a rhino rack with backbone put on mybcar. How do you mount the awning on to it.
Hey Mate, I just used the T-Bolt from Rhino to attach it to the rack, Hope that helps? Let me know if you need anything else
@@gettinglostdownunder will do , Thanks
