My favorite sailors! Absolutely love this channel. Your personalities are amazing and relatable which makes me feel along for the ride. Keep up the amazing work!
I found your channel just a week ago. I have watched every episode starting with your first one, and WOW! What an adventure. Thank you for letting us come along on your journey.
So fantastic this episode! You guys are the best🥰 I agree with Ben. Best thing you’ve done. Borneo has the happiest people and you captured them them so wonderfully. You’ve been my fav YTs for a long time. Your guide was also so amazing! ❤️💕
Your videos have more quality than certain big budget documentaries out there. Keep up the good contents. A fan from Sarawak here. Kalimantan neighbour.
You guys keep it real, so refreshing to see a cruiser lifestyle travel channel that shows local culture and tech, raw and for real. Cheers. P.S : is there any chance you can geo tag each video with a precise GPS coordinate so that if a person wanted to they can go to the very same places to see the sights and meet the people from the vids?
Thank you so much for doing such an exceptional job being who you are and sharing the realness of everything that you’re around. Great taste, I’ve been making a lot of music after watching your episodes and if you would like any of it for free to put on any of your videos you can feel free to have whatever you like. If you’re interested in that, let me know and I’ll send you some dropbox links with the audio files.
Speed, the universal language... Q: Do you know when the first boat race happened? A: When the second boat was built! Love these slice of life "here", wherever that happens to be, videos. Pretty freaking cool. The part where the outhouses were in the same water that everyone bathed and brushed their teeth, whatever teeth they had left, that seemed pretty sketchy. I still remember how sick I got from eating a salad that came with my steak dinner in Mexico. I didn't think about the salad being "washed" in the Mexican water...
Love the fact that you guys go places people with your general background would probably shy away from. That takes courage and maybe will inspire others to do the same! And, swimming in shit probably gives you a kick-ass immune system if it does not kill you first.
Amazing episode and a once in a lifetime experience for us in North America. Thank you for sharing Borneo's river culture and your experiences... I learned some new things today!
People appreciate those things that they take pride in maintaining... The painting of the village has probably given them joy and meaning, a new found contentment and pride. I really liked this series of videos. Unlike anything I've seen. You have made a true documentary !
Keeping the streets clean and everyone smiling and waving, seems the local government is serious about tourists feeling welcome, and you have the king of the fixers he seems to know everything and everyone, plus they respect him
I just want to say again. I love your channel. I love your adventure. Congrats for living the good life which must include some hardship, but you 2 always make the best of it
Ben, you are a very lucky guy to have Ashley with you on this amazing journey. I expect that there are more trying times than what you are showing, but this is an amazing adventure you are on. Keep having fun.
This was very cool, it gives you that feel good to be alive feeling and shows how these people live and get by, and make do with what's at hand, although the circumstances may not be appealing to those who never had to struggle in life, not like this they are happy and generous people, great video, this is the difference between your channel and others and why yours is one of my favorites, take care be safe and may your needs be met when needed....
I just grabbed the time stamp and was ready to post it. Then I saw this lol. I had a kid in jamaica flip me off for not giving him a dollar. One of the polite kids in his group offered to sell me a bracelet the next day while middle finger kid watched. I bought it and made direct eye contact to the middle finger kid and told him politeness and bartering gets you further than being a little dick head, lol. The look was priceless when he realized polite kid just made money selling something instead of begging for a handout then getting mad afterwards. Kids right?
I really like watching your guys adventure it’s really intresting u guys make it fun and exciting like a good Netflix show that U just can’t stop watching shout out from Denver co Be safe till the next one

That kid just flipped you the bird, lol. (Somewhere around the 7 min mark) Guess some languages are universal, lol. 🤷♀️ I think the boat guy asked not to be photographed.. oops.I’m suddenly reminded how incredibly grateful I am to not have to swim, do laundry and brush my teeth off the same dock 2 ft away from where I make direct deposits of raw sewage. 🤢 Asif is THE best tour guide, absolutely loving that guy! 👍🏻. So nice to see someone that truly enjoys their job, that’s a huge part of what makes them brilliant at it. His smile and jolly personality are infectious. This was fantastic. Rainbow village was beautiful
“Who doesn’t want to live riverfront?” I think if I lived there, I’d at least want to be on the up-river edge of the city. I like they way you guys show the local culture in the places you visit!
Everything is cheap here if you find the right person. it must less then $100 for the local boat like that. And another $50 for the English speaking guide. For all day sailing to the River
I'll never forget seeing this type of behavior in Cambodia. There was a very slow flowing, small river. Built next to the river was a Mosque and toilets dropping straight into the river. The Muslims and there children would defecate in the river, then go DOWN STREAM of the toilets, where the water was literally brown and wash in it and their children were swimming in and spitting it out of their mouths, while the parents attended whatever they were doing in the Mosque. I have it on video. I was at the Dr in town with a backpacker girl who cut her foot and had a bad infection. I mentioned it to the Dr and he said people have told them numerous times about it, but they can't be told, because they are religious and know better. Poetic really, a good argument against child indoctrination though, why should children be forced to suffer their parents idiocy.
It wasn't that long ago that all the Rivers in North America were filthy just like this river shown here. Young folks in North America have no clue to how bad our Water Ways were polluted prior to the major clean ups that started in the mid 1970's. I grew up in Michigan, a heavily Industrialized State where most Rivers had Paper Mills and other factory waste pumping in tons of Waste along with all the untreated sewage that flowed directly into all of it's Rivers back in the day. I've seen some of the worst water pollution at it's worst. These poor undeveloped Countries will hopefully wake up, and begin cleaning their Waterways before it's to late.
your content is always good but sad to say you only have 200k subscriber. Those youtubers with contents like trash have millions of subscribers. It only shows the quality of intellect we have now in this world.
I’m sitting with my dad hi Ash hi Ben the video was really good loved when the kloktok went quick big smiles from jacob and dad thanks guys have a great trip enjoy it for us we love watching.
your guide rocks at sound effects. and also he's an awesome dude, you can just tell. i'm guessing nila fish is a tilapia? what kind of engine in that speedboat? yanmar? kubota? great, great episode. thanks a heap.

It's all cool up to point of pooing where you bathe and wash your clothes. But then again say lot of islands close to shores are filled with sewage seepage from having septic systems low and just short distance with mostly sand composition..
The kid flipped the bird at you. In Olongapo in the Philippines had a small river that was in front of the Navy Base the kids would dive for coins in water that was all sewage. Not any different there it looks like.
I want one of those engines - what brand and model is this fire spitting engine? Also i will build a boat like that. Retired Pilot so i have all the time.. (have some skills in boatbuilding).

Sailing Nahoa don’t they race them too?
You do know that they have flush toilets and it goes straight into the river you were in. All in all it's still great fertilizer.
Those klotoks are nothing compares to the Thai's version of them.
Congrats on the pregnancy guys! All the best of luck to you!
LMFAO

Marcus Allan : Kinda surprised me to see that. I guess the “flip off” is a universal salute.

So the outhouses drain into the river? The same river used for swimming, fishing, and laundry?
