I can't agree with you Updates could feel small , because there aren't many content that you can see as added For example a new car - visible new content , but optimization update is something that is happening in behind, but it improves gaming in general. As devs say - there were a lot of small fixes on the behind and they prepare game for some big upgrade, for example career mode , or slowly switching to Vulcan render. Also, remember that people do all these updates for free for you , you just need to buy game once and that's all So don't be like that , give devs more time and you will see good new cool stuff :)

I honestly dont find this update amusing. The NPC system is still horrible, We havent had new maps, yes I know that maps take time but instead of releasing Trucks into a racing game they could work on bigger projects. I like these trucks, but I would also love to see more cars, casual drivers, rally cars, exotics, race cars, and a city map.
I think that the main thing on what BeamNG devs are focusing rn is a career mode. Now whole career mode is a one big delivery simulator. That's why they adding trucks and new optimization systems. This all will be in career mod. I bet the next update is a taxi update, which will mainly affect career mode. After it I think we will see new updates for racing system or off-road stuff , who knows...
Yeah Also there is now special graphics settings parameter for steam deck in the settings :) And also While my pc got 40 fps , I forgot to mention that I also have some apps running in the background, OBS for example, to record my screen And this actually takes a lot of power too

My steam deck is doing way better in my opinion, even with low traffic on, got around 40 to 60 fps, vulkan works okay too.
