I have the latest Photoshop and while I can select timeline, my layers don't appear in ithe timeline. There's a setting you have to change and I can never remember it :/
EDITED - figured it out. After selecting the option of Frames or Video in the dropdown, you must actually CLICK on your selection to activate it.
