I think the ick is mostly hormonal. If you’re on the fence about someone and you’re post ovulation and they do something slightly weird/annoying - here comes the ick!
Jared got the point, it is a bit of a manipulation and this guy is probably lovebombing soon anyone who is insecure enough to be flattered by this approach. He is too much too soon, then he gets angry at women that "nice guys never win". As Jordana said, there is nothing behind his words, they've never even met, so he needs to put his shit together first and then date.
The analysis and advice on the second email was on point. The insults and bashing the guy because he chooses to communicate in English maybe higher than a 5th grade reading level was cringe. Maybe let’s try and set the bar a bit higher sometimes on what is meant to be entertaining.
