I was scared to read Mariana Zapata for so long because the slow burn, I read wait for it a few weeks ago and it’s my new favourite romance! I haven’t read from lukov with love yet because I’m reading from the start of her books as they have cameos of previous couples in them, hope you enjoy💜
How did you not pick Ruthless Vows!? The Renegades Trilogy is FANTASTIC... I can't imagine you not wanting to go right into Supernova after you finish Archenemies OMG... How do you not love SLOW BURN?! It's my FAVORITE... Nothing better than a slow burn/age gap romance... I haven't read Lukov With Love yet, but I did really enjoy KULTI by her And yes, women's Figure Skating is FABULOUS... It is my favorite Olympic Event... They are truly BEAUTIFUL out on the ice ⛸
I’ve been in a bit of a slump and I don’t want to ruin ruthless vows with my moodiness!! so i’m saving it for when i know i can give it my full attention😅
A little late in the game to say but I’d argue that Darling Venom is a slow burn and Valentine’s Day is a feature in the book. And it’s a slow burn that isn’t slow just for the sake of being slow. There’s a valid reason and it isn’t annoying to me, because of the valid reasoning.
@@laurengursky it is but in a deep and very real way. I didn’t feel like it was sad just to get readers to cry. I don’t give trigger warnings because I see them as spoilerish but if you are someone that likes to know then check them out. It’s not a trigger like a dark romance has them, it’s real life stuff. Just the blurb is pretty telling. It’s a story worth telling and worth reading. My entire review was “WoW.” As you can see, I’m a wordy person and that’s all I wanted to/could say when I closed the book, but in the best way possible.
the grace year was really good!! hopefully you enjoy it 🩷
ooo i’m glad you liked it! i’m excited to start it

literally same! a book with no slow-burn, is so borning, like once they're together what's the rest 300 pages for?
