Like these videos, as well as this channel and I don’t know why! I do have a suggestion, though: don’t make it a mission to fly through the books, because making that mission then will devise the feeling of reading being chore! If You’re slow reader, like myself, I’d suggest have the slow reading be the enjoyment! Because then You can pick out favorite parts as You read, making the experience a LOT less overwrought with dread and restlessness! Think about it, that’s why video games or social media is so fun and effortless, because You unconsciously don’t set times for it, You just do it; therefore, making it easier and easier to do! I mean, that’s how any habit is formed! Through making it JUST something to You do when YOU want to do it! See what I’m saying? :D

Mr Mercedes is my fave series 😍😍 it’s very dark but it’s not horror Also the institute is soooo good it’s one of my favourites I loved it Fairytale was also very good. It’s a fantasy I read a lot of Stephen king hahah

I‘ve started the audiobook of Aristoteles and Dante book and it (the voice actors) was so bad I had to dnf it 😭

So happy you’re back and with a book haul! 🤗📚 Anyways here are some book recs: Fast-paced, easy cutesy read: Cross The Line by Simone Soltani Mini Description: A fast-paced, adorable, and witty F1 romance about a F1 driver falling for his social media manger, plus it has the brothers best friend trope! 🏎💘 My personal fav book: Keeping 13 from “The Boys of Tommen Series” I definitely recommend you read this series, it is a slow burn but it’ll get you out of a slump and it has a good amount of emotion depth and witty writting. If you do end up reading the series I’d personally love to see a SPOILER FULL reading vlog (please)! 😅🤞

I’m 22, starting my nursing pre reqs in a week, and I also previously went to a college for 4 years that I didn’t love and experienced many ups and downs there. Nursing is hard but the MOST rewarding carreer in the world. You get to have a direct impact on people lifes, everyday ! I work Emergency and L&D and I wouldn’t do anything else. ❤

Dredged is definitely a word. And I’m realizing through my reading years that there’s a reason so many people suggest rereading a book when you’re in a slump. One, you probably already like it. Two, you’re at least reading something even if you don’t have to/want to be reading with haste since you already know how it ends. I find the need to reread books if I read it as it’s being published. So I try to reach for those when I find myself slumping.

Does If He Had Been With Me come across super YA? I've heard it does from a couple of booktubers... I felt the same about Before We Were Innocent(3.0), however, I LOVED Ella Burman's debut book, The Comeback(5.0)... GASP! You might not be an age gap reader... That's my favorite trope along with slow burn... I loved Darling Venom, but I will agree that it could have been shorter... Try Confidence of Wildflowers... If you don't like that book, then age gap definitely isn't for you(I don't really consider Daisy & Ryke that much of an age gap) I also read See You Yesterday and really enjoyed it(4.0) If you loved SCYTHE(5.0), then you will love the rest of the series... I did have a bit of trouble focusing on the 3rd book which seemed to be a lot happening and all over the place, so stay extra focused(I may have just been too busy with work when I listened) I also gave AJ Fikry 5 stars I enjoyed The Dead Romantics(4.5) a little more than The Seven Year Slip(4.25) Betting On You was a bit disappointing for me(3.75)... Still enjoyable though, but I have high expectations after Better Than the Movies(5.0)

As a college student, I get the same feeling you do. About sitting down to read but feeling guilty because there is some many other things to be doing. I also feel like I put a lot of pressure on myself to do well and that plays a huge role. You are not alone in that feeling!!!

i read the assassins blade first and i can 100% recommend. in my opinion it makes throne of glass and crown of midnight much more meaningful and exciting because you know the backstory. also everytime the plot from assassins blade was mentioned in the following books i got so emotional and i wouldn't have experienced this if i did another order.

I loved Check & Mate, but I love Chess stories(mainly because of The Queen’s Gambit… book & adaptation)… It didn’t feel YA in some respects 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m literally less than an hour from finishing the audiobook for Just For the Summer(I paused to watch your video 😉) and I’m absolutely LOVING it…. Part of Your World is still my favorite and probably always will be(there’s a really nice tie-in to Part of Your World)

TJR is mt favorite author of all times! She is The Best, and I loved your review! (Carrie Soto is Back is her best book yes!).
