I don’t really dress modest, but I came across this video and this is so good! I really like your fashion sense, you dress really nice. So classy! Definitely gonna recommend your channel and video to people I know who like to dress more modest, such good tricks 😊
I am a Christian woman that wears religious clothing under my clothes. It truly limits what I can wear. I LOVE absolutely everything you wear. I love how you use regular stores for shopping (not specialty stores). You offer great advice!
I'm not Muslim, or even religious, but the older I get (I'm 27), the more modest my fashion sense is naturally becoming. I really love this video - I really love what you did with that satin dress! I've been wearing a lot of ponchos lately and would really love to incorporate more modest items into my wardrobe - this video helped a lot! 💖
@@petscraftsandwonderfulthin1279i am muslim but my father never forced me to wear veil but he also encouraged me to wear long loose clothes ,because when i go to collge i get stalked sometimes so i started wearing modest clothes ,plus they are comfy😊
The tall version of clothing, the distressed jeans, and the white leggings hack -- GENIUS! Alhumdulillah, I loved that they were not the usual hacks 😊😊
I LOVE YOU, LEENA! Others mentioned being Christian. I'm Jewish. ALL of us care about how we present ourselves. Thank you for your channel! I've been turning tank tops and tees around forever--GREAT thing to do! And you looked so gorgeous in that big sweater over the silk dress. I would NEVER have thought of doing that! But you know what? I browsed online till I found a sweater and a silk dress, both in champagne, that wrre perfect. The sweater is aaaaalmost light enough to wear in the summer. Can't wait to show off the new look! Again, I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU!
You also asked for other hacks. I had a sister-in-law (she passed away) who made me a long sleeved camisole and loose "leggings' with a loose elastic waist, both out of thin, silky, lingerie material. They were so light and comfy, and they fixed EVERY problem, including flowy skirts on windy days. Someone should start a business making these!
I have mastered alot of modest hacks being in my thirties but the backwards v-neck t and going with the tall option are very original and amazing ideas.
I’m not even religious, just love modest fashion I think it’s so feminine and elegant. You are gorgeous and I love the colours you dress in. Beautiful 👏👏👏
For the past few months, I’ve also been slowly getting rid of scoop neck and v neck shirts too! And I been consciously buying items that only have a high neckline. Even though I’m not Muslim, (I’m Christian) I am immensely thankful for these hacks, you given me so many options! I never heard of pant liners, I’m excited to try it. I have one deep v neck sweater I can’t part with yet, so I get by by wearing a turtle neck under it. I also wear turtle necks under to spaghetti strap dresses like the shiny tan one you showed. It’s probably the most obvious hack but it’s saved me on numerous occasions :)) ASOS online shop has always had mores modest options, like midi skirts and dresses, but now they have a modest category now with Muslim wearing their hijab models btw!
Samira Ahmed omg girl I feel you! I could never actually wear any of these without it sticking to my body things like blouses and those wide loose trousers no go lool 😫
I too am well out of this frame but this is a mear guide line sister my hack to these are plus sized and I mix and match sizes . I make it work and I still look very chic .Maybe I should make a plus sized hijabi fashion tutorial......

Just a tipfor whenever you do it: cut the patch down to size. I tried this hack on some work jeans and the area the patch was on was always very warm and sweaty cuz I didnt cut it.
It’s interesting how style changes. When I was a child and ripped my jeans, my mom would sew a patch over the hole on the outside of the jeans, like butterflies or flowers.
I have bought jeans thats ripped and also patched from inner side and they are every where in my country becz people don't usually like showing their ripped jeans area so its nice for me becz I love ripped jeans already patched!

Girl, I've never seen anything like this!!! I'm so glad that a wonderful person is advocating for a different style that cant be found very often, PROPS, you do it well!! 👑
Thank you for empowering women with these hacks! It's so hard to find clothes nowadays for women that are flatting AND modest. I don't typically dress as modest but when I want to it's impossible to find stuff that covers everything. Great video! ❤
I don’t dress particularly modestly myself, but after suffering through the relentless ads and incessant recommendations of “Classically Abby”, I am finding this video a delight! You are dispensing practical advice instead of judgement, and your fashion style and your color sense are absolutely spot on. I really enjoyed this, and even picked up a couple of tips that honestly, I think are useful for anyone. Thank you!
You have such a good taste!. We share a lot of the modest codes. I recommend a basic wardrobe made of fine cloths so it can make your outfit more modest and more classy
For the gym, try tennis skirts/athletic skirts! I use them at the gym. I searched around for one that suits my style and then matched the rest of my outfits for the gym. Or I use a loose top that covers the bum (sometimes I use a s super light black skater girl dress, and match it with a athletic zipped up long sleeve adidas top with leggings. It looks athletic and is still is super comfy !! But bigger brands like Nike an Addidas have longer shirts now a days as well, there’s sizes are harder for me because I have a big behind so they stick. But there’s still some really good long athletic shirts there as well. But side note, I really appreciate that you mention feeling you need more coverage at the gym, so many influencers are doing the opposite and being less modest and it makes it hard to connect with them. Thanks for these tips, keep being awesome !☺️
I was going to recommend a tennis skirt as well in a size up. I know they’re lined with underwear though so maybe you’d work cut that out to wear on top of your gym pants
I will try the skirts Sara thank you! I recently quit the gym because I was uncomfortable being stared at. I used to go to a gym that had a dress code but now it seems acceptable everywhere to just use the gym equipment half naked. Why would anyone want to use a machine after some shirtless man or woman in a bra and short shorts sweated all over it? Can you imagine the germs?
Just wanna share an item that might help with the gym hack.. in Malaysia, we have this kinda thing called mini skirt muslimah. It's kinda look like a mini skirt with jersey/chiffon material and act as extension, paired with any short t-shirt/jersey. Absolutely a good cover. Come with few styles. You can get it online, just search 'mini skirt muslimah' at the search section on Instagram, and you might some shops which sell it online! Example: Anany.co , fqsecrets, etc. Hope that you will check it out! :)
@@farhannadolhan2206 yup in Malaysia it's the easiest to find modest clothings that cater to our individual fashion styles so if you guys want, you can also check out for cheaper/affordable options that a lot are trustworthy & value of money (we have almost monthly sales & vouchers) here on Shopee (app/online), Zalora (app/online) and Lazada (app/online) but I'm not quite sure if they ship out of Asian countries but hopefully they do. For Americans you might even find hijab scarves from only rm5-10 = around usd1-3, modest blouses rm15-50 = around usd 4-10, Palazzo pants/loose cutting pants rm15-30 = around usd4-8, turtlenecks/inner shirts rm7-30 = around usd2-7, skirt extender for shirts & blouses rm5-20 = below usd6 and underscarf snowcaps (ranging from just the head to covering the neck till chest) rm1-20 = under usd1-5

I am not Muslim and don't particularly need to dress modestly but I do live in a cold climate and I love a lot of your ideas for how to dress nice and not be cold. Leggings under white pants is genius! I could put a patch under ripped Jeans and not get a cold patch... so many great ideas

Favorite hack you displayed: wearing a top OVER a spaghetti strap dress. BRILLIANT! I see so may beautiful dresses online with those straps. My background: I've dressed modestly the majority of my adult life which is generally very wide-legged slacks with long tunics. Even with knit slacks I still cover them with tunics/tops that go over the knee. Recently I've begun going to a church where the women wear skirts/dresses. It's not a requirement - but most of the women do. I'll be heading out to thrift shops but your hacks have given ideas to me I might have overlooked, such as wearing t-shirts backwards. THANK YOU!!
First of all: I love your colour scheme. Blush tones suit you so well! And second: thanks for the video and inspiration. I too like to dress modest. I think it looks more sophisticated and all in all more polished.
Loved this video! You could also take a dress with sheer sleeves to your tailor and ask them to add lining to the sleeves. That way you don't have to wear an extra layer to cover your arms! 😊

As a chubby woman I prefer more covering styles and some of your tips are what I do, too. I got a pair of ripped jeans a while back and they already had a contrast lining sewn in which looks amazing. For me, I prefer a white cotton lining in dark jeans or a colorful lining in bright jeans. For the v neck, my mom made some crochet liners to sew into neckline in contrasting colors.

I love these! I've done the backwards shirt hack before. I find that for necklines that need to be altered, I often pin them shut with a brooch until I get around to sewing them. It looks nice & the brooch can be a statement piece of jewelry. I just find them at old thrift shops, garage sales, etc. 😊

Its great that I get to know myself a little better. Thank you for the amazing tips!!

I know it probably sounds weird, but the older I get (I'm 33 right now), the more I appreciate modesty like this. I'm not particularly religious, I have my own ideas about how everything came to be, but I really love the hijab and loser fitting, more modest clothing. I feel like nobody would accept it if I decided to wear it to be modest because that's what I like. I'm pretty chilly most of the time so I'm not worried about overheating, I just feel like I would really get looks andquestions and I'm not sure I'm ready for three attention it might bring.

You can't bend the Islamic regulations rules to your own taste.
The worgness its that she is spreading her way of the Islamic rules.
Of her own basic and understanding of thinking.
But this isn't the term in Islam that you could bend it how youre taste is.

But read and understanding the rules of hijab.
Have further education in this.
If you have a point who is actually allowed to wear trousers and spread things like this I will do it too.

Be clear at this point.

It’s probably the most obvious hack but it’s saved me on numerous occasions :))
ASOS online shop has always had mores modest options, like midi skirts and dresses, but now they have a modest category now with Muslim wearing their hijab models btw!
The problems is these looks good on girls with skinny frame I have a thick body so everything I wear looks sexy on me and I honestly hate that

Thank you for empowering women with these hacks! It's so hard to find clothes nowadays for women that are flatting AND modest. I don't typically dress as modest but when I want to it's impossible to find stuff that covers everything. Great video! ❤
PLEASEE MOREE LIFE HACKSS!!! These are actually upgrading my style!
I recommend a basic wardrobe
made of fine cloths
so it can make your outfit more modest and more classy

THANK YOU!!
