- Here I explain Jet flying mechanics in battlefield 2042, the strategy that works best for me, the different maneuvers that can be done by the SU-57 and the F35E and how to counter them.

was flying the su in a dogfight and the panther beat me in a turn fight, this is unheard of, i really didn’t understand how he did it, maybe there is some sort of secret technique that people use that i haven’t caught on to yet.
There are a few of points:
1- they buffed the panther
2- there are turn maneuvers to cut the circle and be behind the su57, but difficult.
3- there are hackers using speed cheats, I have encountered one, I was baffled just like you and people on the server called him out.
@@AntiSocialElfoh woah, buffed the panthers maneuverability to match the su? I was experimenting with flight patterns, i saw that some people use the afterburner/ boost to gain an edge by tap boosting during the turn to decrease the time it takes to make a complete turn. i was trying this but i didn’t really notice much of a difference, maybe they were doing it too, but i couldn’t catch up to see the back of the jet.
And as far as hackers go im unaware of the full extent that is which tools they are using to exploit in game mechanics but that would also explain some of the unexplainable instances i’ve experienced. shame that people do it.
@@arcanusluvalus1388 the guy I faced was using a cheat for more speed, I managed to kill him twice but he did a lot of unexplainable stuff in front of my eyes..
Sometimes get shot down by an F35 and I catch myself yelling HOW?
Even after they buffed the F35 for more agility the su57 still wins most fights. The downside for the buff is extended dogfights now as the 2 jets are locked in a Looping pattern. th-cam.com/users/shortstyRrFoUQMwk?feature=share

Hi I know this is an older video, but my biggest hurdle when flying a jet is how to slow down to turn corners faster. I use the default keybinds as well, and I quickly run out of mouse mat when trying to turn. Is there any tips on that?

You can change the rear view camera to E. Also look at more recent guides in my channel about the buttons layout

how to disable plane chase camera roll ?
This is a very old video, please check my newer ones they are way better. To answer your question: Go to Options, Mouse and Keyboard, Vehicles, scroll down and turn off 3P camera roll
Hey man im gonna need that FOV angle on the jets , please explain what setting feature i need to switch it to that. All other channels ive asked have been useless in explaining
Sure, I will check my settings and tell you when am on the pc (in an hour) but can you tell me what are you struggling with? Is it you don't see jets and they always get behind you in dogfights?

And My issue is that when im dogfighting and get into a turning war in circles, usually I see them during the chase but in your view it's much wider and you can always see the enemy jet , so I'm wondering if it's just my FOV ? Do I raise it for the jet ? Plus it looks more fluid and clean like BFV planes

for FOV with jet, I put it on the highest value, but thats not everything. I will help you if you have time to train :)
Under display you will find vehicle fov, set it to it's max which is 88,check my other reply with the discord link

1942 dogfighting (PORTAL) is so fun, it feels like I'm in warthunder again, just without gaijin sucking my soul out of my body...
But seriously, 1942 dogfighting is also fun because it takes skill, with no missles, you need good aim, and need to manouvre correctly.
Plus you can also switch roles and turn into the anti ground role with the bombs, albeit very hard to hit anyone with those, unless you fly really low, like 30 meters altitude low.

B17 Time (the one I played in), 1942 Air, Dogfight, and 1942 conquest.
For me personally, I was bored so I just scrolled on portal until i saw something that looked fun.

Also, I noticed you been using afterburners for so long. Apparently nowadays there is a limit for how long to use an afterburner which sucks
Yes they introduced this with the latest update. A lot of people are not happy about it

I'd been avoiding 2042 for awhile, but I bought the game and found the jets to be trash... it's just compared to BF4, the jets are way to heavy and feel sluggish af. I think they killed the dogfighting community with this one.
Did you try the jets after the last update in season 4?
@@AntiSocialElf yeah, idk if they brought back the whole speed control system with it tho, but then again I only started playing mid season 3 so I don't know how it was like before.
@@johnblawn940 they buffed the F35 to have the same agility like the su57 and made both jets more responsive to controls

i am sorry its not C, go to options, then mouse and keyboard, then edit keybinding, then go to pilot, and look for movement, and view rear camera

S on pc is to slow down, I think that's the left analog stick on the Xbox controller, you push is back. Or decelerate, decrease speed
