You have to rotate the cylinder gasket so the cutouts for the ports line up.

I installed this same big bore kit on my pocket mini cross and add 15mm carb and i have about 65kg and when is warmed up after 5-10min of ridding when i stop, it won't turn of motor on switch and in place work on high revs... I dont know whats the problem, and the same was with stock carb and when i added 15mm carb i think it goes weaker...
Hi, can you turn off engine by key when engine is cold? can you start engine when key is off? if yes then you have problem with wires, ground is missing somehere, if not the it looks like engine is self-igniting. this happens when is high compression in the engine and high temperature, you may need to reduce the temperature. make sure you have good oil and you mix it 25:1 for each 1 liter of petrol you need to add 40ml of 2 stroke oil. you may need to also regulate ratio fuel -air give more fuel less air. this should solve the problem
@@MiniBikesStore 40ml/1L?? hell nah you need 1:50 so thats 20ml/L for these small 2stroke engines. if you use 40ml/L you will get oil fouled sparkplug and you will smoke out the whole neighbourhood.

not so sure about your assembly skills, or it be a good example of how to...
- place cilinder gasket on cilinder to line up with ports
- NEVER hit on cilinder/ or alu parts to make them fit
- tighten bolts in star or diagonally across pattern
- check NM torque specs especially with aluminum cilinder/cilinderhead when tighten bolts
- don't overtighten spark plug

Can the original crank hold together with that cylinder?
Yeah some guy made a yz 75cc piston and barrel fit on the original crank and bottom end. And it ran.
badly rotated seal under the cylinder. The cutouts on the seal are for overflow channels. I do not understand the meaning of grooves (windows) in the piston. What is it used for? What are they opening?

How much does this increase the speed
It takes it from probably around 3hp to 5 MABYE at a push
so i bought one of these (actually, 3 of these) and upgraded one of my bikes with it and this kit has one huge flaw, the top part is separate from the cylinder, being held down by 4 very long bolts, metal expands from heat and the bolts lengthen and the cylinder starts loosing compression and the engine dies till it all cools off and returns back to original shapes, than the bolts will be loose and have to be tightened again, than it will start again, but same thing will happen again,after several times of this happening the cylinder becomes a few micrometers shorter and the piston starts hitting the spark plug and bending the sparky bit inwards and making it touch the other sparky bit and not making any more spark, gotta add a second ring between the spark plug and the head to pull it in a little, huge headache to get it to a state where its functioning properly
That's why you use stud's and lock nuts just like the Japanese bike's.

Does big bore kit require resetting the carb?
no, you do not need to reset the carb settings
Don't adjust the fuel to air ratio unless you need to!! It's one screw that does both! You add more fuel, you cut out the air! Factory carb is fine.... however... I build a lot of race cars, bigger piston mean you can get more air and more fuel! I'll be making a video of how to jet one these little carbs! Makes a huge difference!!! And it's a very very small rejet!! Looks almost the same, That's because factory piston is 40mm this is 44mm very very small!! Wish someone would come out with a true big bore!! Like a 50mm!! Build carb, little bigger exhaust exit....have something then!! I may machine one someday and see what I can do with it!! Sounds like a challenge!! Yep..

what cc does it get from bigbore kit?
the believe the stock bore is 39mm which equates to 49cc and the big bore kit is 44mm which equates to 63cc although it might be marketed as 80cc just type in 49cc 44mm big bore kit

@@ohio203 39cc from my measurements, has a bore of 40mm I believe. The 44mm piston bring it to 49cc.
If your looking for good power gains do some carb tuning or upgrade from 14mm to a 15 or 16mm carb then tune.
You can also advance timing for bottom end grunt or retard timing for top end power and speed.
You could also do a port match and port polish.
If your really into making power, you could mod a carb to run nitro methane also (rc fuel).

What about the carb? Bigger piston means more air, more air means more gas!! Seams to me that if you want full potential of this kit need to find a bigger carb or jet it yourself! I have a big bore kit ordered, just got the new motor in, but... going to look into the whole carb thing!

49cc is the big bore. The cylinder you put on yours just looks cooler and the ports are a little different

no it does not improve cc's.. cc's = bore size & stroke, its a 44mm size bore, same as stock & the crank is the same, so cc's cannot be increased with just the same size barrel. the only difference is this headkit has boost ports. Come on, how do people not know this??
It doesnt matter if you replace the crank only if you go up to lets say 75cc thats where it‘s not efficiant to run a stock length crank

But do you realize that s different piston gives you a power and performance boost cause it's called a ported piston and piston head it's has better porting than the stock cylinder head and the stock piston has no porting on it
