"I'm calling the drones going down here... Ohh It was 0, what a terrible guess" 😅 It's this kind of theatrics that will always keep Captain's videos fresh.
Man, how I wish Dark actually used his drones to mine Byun's minerals like at all. There's been maybe 40+ minutes during this 2 hour video when Dark either had a base on Byun side of the map and just didn't mine from it, or had perfectly clear opportunity to build a base and refusing to do so for 10 minutes. Games would look a lot different if he did
Still a like and a comment :)
I think it would be an interesting strat in games like this for the zerg to actually move all drones to mine as much as quickly as possible from the forward or enemy bases, then use a bank and larva to quickly remake drones if forward bases get taken out & start mining. Trade out drones/hatches instead of army. Maybe even make no-mans-land bases to long-distance mine when rebuilding the forward bases. Basically keep enough army to pose a threat but trade drones/hatches for stealing opponent resources then plan for a decisive attack in late game after terran has been kept in check & expansions are already mined. BGMWSS?
First game is so hard to break a Turtling Terran. I threw 115k resources in a game on that map, and just couldn't crack the defenses. Insane game though.
I don't know yet how the first game will end but it pisses me off that Zerg trades worse by default while the Terran mines less by default. But then in the late game the Terran can catch up with the lost mining in a minute by dropping 160thousand mules.
SC2 new expansion, Kerrigan goes Protoss, with her being human/zerg, she just needs the power of the Toss. Or maybe she has an offspring with a toss, I don't know the lore enough for toss reproduction, maybe some crazy sect of toss have Kerri genes and tried to make a hybrid they could control. The campaign could be you as the offspring who can control all 3 races, it could have a development tree where you could specialize more into certain race aspects or perhaps ability to combine? If they went all out, you could also play the campaign as one of the 3 races trying to stop the offspring.
34:00 im curious, would it be a viable play to go for the production with the mutas? in my mind it sounds good bc he cannot defend it without leaving his mining base more open to an attack and he would have to rebuild all of that which is not free (could be wrong though, im just a diamond 3 player)
flyer attack boosts the impact damage from the broodlords (when they shoot out the broodlings), then the broodlings get bonuses for melee upgrades when attacking stuff.
7:43 honestly i think equal upgraded lings, as soon as they have adrenal, are really good actually. i dont feel like they need bane support at that point.
@@snowdrop9810 it also depends on surface area and (kinda obviously) the ammount. a circular group of marines often shreds too fast, yes. but when they stand in a line, i dont know.
@@snowdrop9810ps: also most of the time zerg is behind in upgrades. then it sucks. and adtenal has to be done. anything before that, bane. dont get me wrong i'm not like delusional here. 98% of the time you need a good ammount of banes
Another question also, how can you get 7 hatches and terran somehow manage not to lose? No matter how good you are if you let someone expand 7 bases to early on you should lose.
@@kovic199 doesn't matter if he has 7 expansions in this case because he didn't really saturate enough of those hatcheries to get a insane advantage, things just aren't that simple
I hate zerg cuz its optimal play is to camp but god damn dark is something special. An actual player unlike the clown serral, who sits back and just camps.
that game 1 was mad as hell man
Yeah but to not even try to fight at the end is kind of disrespectful to the viewers...

Insane mass expand by Dark in the first game haha

"He's seen it in a dream, but it wasn't real." Lol, such a gaming commentary thing to say.
Thanks for covering this Harstem, got this on going to bed.
Didn't even know pros could just draw like that, incredible game
Zerg = 144 army supply
caster: this army is significant
I thought after heart of the swarm that we were going to have a DLC eventually that would release the hybrid as a playable race. What a fool i was

I guess Dark is like, your marines splits vs banes got nothing on my muta split against libs.
Legit, I’ve never seen Muta splits vs Libs like that. And the Mutas won too. 👌

Have you tried broodies
this is the Dark we love in Game 1
34:36 was this dark trying to show a small muta count to reassure Byun he wasn't building more than when they last fought?

1:32:40 Power of the marines? :D
Eight. 8 sieged tanks and 2 sieging in time of the zerg attack do all work :D

Didn't Reynor try a mass muta stlye into the uber late game vs spirit a while ago? on neohumaniy?
We still never got the implied hybrid race we felt like we were promised
Harmstem can you please use the latest obs layout with damage done stats. I saw it in one of winter videos. Thanks
Does the attack upgrades matters on the broods ? Or the broodslings are only impacted by the mele upgrade ?
flyer attack boosts the impact damage from the broodlords (when they shoot out the broodlings), then the broodlings get bonuses for melee upgrades when attacking stuff.
"liberators so good with the splash dmg"
meanwhile mutas destroy all of them with minimum casualties every time.... :D :D :D

They *really* do. Unless its a small marine count. Pure ling still gets shredded, +40% attack speed or not.
